I turn to find that Jake is being escorted out of the room by Detective Keener. "Alison, Detective Keener will be back tomorrow to talk to you further, but in the meantime there is something important that we discovered about you" I leaned but on the bed and without meaning to I fell into a deep sleep before the doctor could tell me what he discovered but i'm pretty sure i already knew what it is that they figured out. Doctor Rivera walked out of Alison's room and he doesn't look happy. "Hey doc is Alison okay?" Jake had been worried sick ever since he got kicked out of her room and he couldn't help but think that something was wrong with Alison.

They reached the Cleft—the narrow exit that led to the upper ridges. "Going somewhere, Ariyah?" A tall, one-eyed wolf named Riker stepped into their path. He was a former enforcer for a southern pack, exiled for a cruelty that even they couldn't stomach. He smelled of old blood and cheap tobacco. Behind him, three other rogues lounged against the rock, their postures casual but their eyes locked on Aeron. "Out for a hunt, Riker," Ariyah said, her voice dropping into a low, dangerous octave. Her hand moved to the hilt of the knife at her belt. "Step aside."

Zeke’s jaw set in anger and Corey whimpered and lowered her head. “Brody” I warned him as a few tears fell from Corey’s eyes. “She didn’t do anything wrong, she was just following orders” I argued as Zeke took his mate in his arms. “I don’t care, she tried to kill my mate – her Luna. I don’t tolerate harm to you Allison, you should know that” he snapped. I rolled my eyes but stayed silent.

“Alpha… who’s behind it?” I met his eyes. “Her name is Tatiana, also known as Marissa.” I said. “She was presumed dead within the pack years ago. Had it not been for her, I wouldn’t be standing here today. However, there has been a shift, and somehow, she’s not. She’s walking again. Bringing things with her. Things that should’ve stayed buried. And whatever she has as a reason, it is not going to be ending in our favor.” Another voice from the back, female, strong. “What does she want? We were her family, why would she be attacking us?”

Scribe retorted from the doorway. The guy tried to make a run for it but was caught by Tracker. Kara moved behind Allsion gripping her hair and putting the knife to her throat. "Don't come near me. Or I swear I'll make sure she dies. If I can't have you, neither will she!" Kara screamed. "Allison, close your eyes." Scribe whispered. As soon as she did, she heard the shot and felt the blood splatter her. The tip of the knife did pierce her skin but not deep. She heard Kara's body hit the floor. And kept her eyes closed. She was never opening her eyes again.

She went to the head doctor's chamber. The nurses who were passing, saw her and were about to stop but the receptionist told them that Doctor Linus knew her. That day when she came to meet him, Doctor Linus ordered her to let her enter without an appointment. He also told that Allison was the pack's beta's daughter. Allison stopped in front of the chamber. She opened the door. "Linus, I need to talk abo-" She paused when she saw who was sitting there in front of Doctor Linus.

when he finally entered, he was met with a surprise and before he knew it, his body moved by itself. "What do you think you're doing?" Ryker's voice dropped a few degrees as he glared coldly at the cause of his dimmed mood. "Arghh!" A loud scream echoed in the VIP room. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: -Moments earlier- "Ryker said you should wait for him..." Allison told Arya when she saw that the latter was about to get up and leave. "Oh, thank you for telling me." Arya smiled and thanked her for the information.

Aeryn and Storm didn’t mind, since I offered to babysit Forrest and Neyva whenever they wanted. Uncle Riker had also suggested that I shadow him. He claimed he needed the help, but I think maybe my mom, Sierra, put him up to it. I did have the right genes to be a beta. My grandfather, Riker, was the beta before he was killed. Grandpa Os was a successful alpha for years, and my mom, Sierra, had been the first female beta of the Iron River pack. And my mom, Kate, led the taskforce that had been instrumental in getting my nieces Aeryn and Elora back and the rest of the girls that were taken to the school.

She fisted her hands and closed her eyes feeling the presence of the dark vampire. “I never thought I would know about your existence let alone see you, darling.” Allison opened her eyes as she heard his deep pleasing voice from behind. Slowly she turned around and faced him. The man who destroyed her family and her loved ones. Her enemy! Keir Frederick gestured at the siren girl to leave and looked at Allison curiously from head to toe. “You are the exact replica of Akira. Allison Griffin. What a lovely name!”

I am finally healed enough that I can shift and resume the search to bring that bitch back home. Alpha Riker has granted me a reprieve of one week on the remainder of my sentence, allowing me to join the search efforts. He says that at this point, it is more critical that Vanessa be brought home to begin assuming her role as the pack’s next female lead warrior. No way in hell I am going to let that happen.
