“I need to speak with you. I see that you're sitting at the waiting area, waiting for your flight, isn't it?” Damon's eyes widened slightly, but he quickly masked his surprise. “I think you’ve got the wrong person.” He stood up abruptly, turning to leave. Allison was faster. She stepped in front of him, blocking his path. “Who are you trying to fool? You’re Damon Reed. And I said, I need to speak with you.” He scoffed. “Who are you, some reporter? Because you don’t look like a cop.” Allison chuckled. “You’re right, I’m not a cop. But I have the power to hand you over to them.”

Leio checked his watch again. "Are you worried Cindy's getting impatient?" Zion teased. "Has Leio Rivera finally fallen for someone?" "Shut up. That girl is just amazing in b—!" His words were cut off when there was a small commotion. "Really?!" They all turned to see Allison, excited and in disbelief. "I won? I won?" "Yes, Ally. I told you not to be so negative," Ms. Pam said. "And guess what? You won the fully furnished one!"

"You'll scare the poor man away." "I doubt that," Allison said, her eyes meeting Rick's over her wine glass. "He strikes me as the type who doesn't scare easily." Rick tried not to read meaning into her words. They were just meeting for the time, so he’ll just let things flow and try not to appear so uptight. But as the dinner progressed, Rick found himself genuinely enjoying Allison's company. She was smart, intelligent, and had a sharp wit about her. She told stories of challenging surgeries and difficult patients, her passion for her work evident in her every word.

Chapter Sixty Five - Future Father-in-law Allison removed her phone from her coat pocket before getting into her car. She called Jackson and asked if he was home and she told him she would be coming to his house. Allison knocked and Jackson opened the door with a smile. "You're here. Thanks for coming" He said as he hugged her. "It's nothing. After all I inspired you" Allison said and winked after withdrawing from the hug. "Have you had something to eat?" Jackson asked as he closed the door after her.

Her little Allison will be alright. She will make sure of that. ******

With a sense of satisfaction, he prepared to share the news with Allison. After ending the call, Allison couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. She turned to Mr. Whitlock, her eyes filled with anticipation. "Did Ryan agree?" she asked eagerly. Mr. Whitlock nodded, a satisfied smile gracing his lips. "Yes, he's on board," he confirmed. Allison's face lit up with joy, and she let out a small cheer. "That's fantastic!" she exclaimed.

“Tilt your head back.” “What is that?” “Milk.” I jerked away. “What? Why? That’s weird as hell.” “Do you want to stop feeling like your face is on fire or not?” “How do you even know we have milk in here?” “My little sister Rosie is an over-energetic little brat who gets into a lot of accidents,” Allison said, and I heard her tone go a little fonder. “So? What the fuck does that have to do with—"

She air-kissed near my cheek and flitted away to greet someone else, her wedge heels clicking on the hardwood. I grabbed a small plate and started loading it up. The bacon-wrapped dates were calling my name, along with what looked like mini crab cakes with some kind of aioli. “Maren fucking Cole.” I turned around so fast I nearly dropped my plate. Allison stood there grinning, holding a Moscow Mule in a copper mug. She looked fantastic—same mischievous sparkle in her eyes, but her style had evolved. She wore high-waisted black jeans and a silk camisole, her hair cut into a sharp asymmetrical bob with honey-blonde highlights.

I go in with her and get the shampoo, Allison has already taken off the bandages she had put on and is muttering that everything is burning where she's skinned it. I wash her hair and Allison stays quiet. I finish and take a shower to rinse it off. "How delicious..." She says softly. "I know I'm hot," I say with a smile on my lips. "You're so conceited, but fuck it, you're just washing me." She says and we laugh. I grab the soap and before I can do anything Allison takes it from my hand and bends down to wash her legs. "I need to wash my feet well, shit got between my toes, I think it was elephant shit, there was so much shit there," Allison says with her ass in the air, washing her legs.
