There was a towel wrapped around my body and yet I still felt naked in front of the other inmates. An inmate was working behind the counter. He smelled of humans but I wasn’t very sure. If he was really human, I wondered how he felt safe working with so many creatures. He was food for them. I placed my token on the counter. “Can I have a uniform, please?” He looked at me once before looking away, continuing to hand out the uniforms to others. “Excuse me?” “The Alpha said you can’t have the uniform.” I stared at him, completely baffled. “I’m sorry, what?”

It wasn't Nicky who replied him but Alex as she and the other three members of the squadron hurried over. "Captain, the inmates in the third prison cell are getting more and more out of control." Nicky hurriedly ran behind Alex and handed over the key to the third prison cell to Alex. "Captain, why didn't you guys show up to inspect the shift?" Just as Larry's voice fell, Alex walked to the door of the third prison unit and opened it. The teammates fishtailed in, and the female inmates all dutifully held their heads and squatted on the floor.

But she had obeyed, and everything that followed is now history. Wearing the standard-issue gray prison uniform, Alice was shown around the large jail, housing about seven hundred inmates. She arrived with certain privileges, including being kept away from the general population in an isolated cell. In some ways, this was a relief. She didn't see herself as a criminal like the others and was terrified at the thought of living with women who had committed heinous crimes or sharing a room with strangers. This was the lowest point any Taylor had ever reached, and Alice continued to set unfortunate records among her sisters.

Aaron's POV “Hey, get up!” One of the inmates kicked me out of my silent state as the corp opened the cell. “You could have just inform me rather than kicking me,” I grumbled, mumbling under my breath as I stood up, walking behind them. For the past few days, I've been here, I had learned the hard way, sincerely. I've been getting along with my cellmates even though there always come a time of rift and heated arguments between us, but I've come to realized they weren't as bad as I pictured them to be after all.

Warren had seen me brutal before, but not like this—not with someone he’d just realized was a woman. He shifted, and I caught his reflection in the glass: tight jaw, unsure eyes. "Don’t start moralizing now,” I thought. “This isn’t about right or wrong.” If only he knew who this woman was. The prisoner swallowed another bite, licking grease from her fingers. “So what’s the big plan? You dress me up, feed me, then let me rot again? I know the big bad Alpha is watching me. “That’s not what you should be worried about.
