Albert felt his body ache like he had fought dozens of werewolves alone. After finishing the movements to stretch his stiff muscles and joints, Albert looked at the wall clock hanging above the door. "I haven't slept this well in a long time," he muttered. The Alpha was a little surprised because, as he remembered, he hadn't woken up at all since he closed his eyes last night. This was uncharacteristic for the Alpha, who was used to being alert. Just a small sound or movement would usually wake him up. However, tonight, it seemed he was too deep in sleep to hear or feel anything.
