Every movement he made was deliberate, exuding a quiet, deadly confidence that spoke of both strength and control. Beside him, Liam was a stark contrast. Though nearly as tall as Alpha Rollins, Liam had a more relaxed demeanor. His hair was a lighter shade of brown, tousled and falling slightly over his forehead, giving him a more approachable, almost boyish look. His hazel eyes, however, were sharp and calculating, taking in every detail of the tent as they entered. He wore a simple gray t-shirt and jeans, the casual attire not diminishing the underlying strength and alertness in his posture.

Only mockery. “I'm announcing that Elena Darkwood is my mate, but I will not accept her. She might have been my friend, but I will never make a wolfless Omega my Luna.” I felt my heart break, shattering into pieces. But I couldn’t let him see me cry. Not here. Not now. “I, Liam Hemsworth, the future Alpha of this pack, hereby re—” “Hold it, Liam” I cut him off, my voice steady even as my heart splintered. “Let me do you the favor.”

“You followed Lira.” Liam didn’t respond. I swallowed. “What did she promise you, Liam?” His eyes turned to me. Then to Kol. Then back. “I’m in love with him.” What?! Kol stiffened. I froze. “I have been,” Liam continued. “For years. Since the day he was named Alpha.” Kol’s lips parted, but no words came.

I shut off my laptop because the more I look at this woman, the more I am drawn to him. I cut the call and called Liam inside. Liam is the same guy who studies at Caroline college. "Alpha you called me", he entered my office and bowed down in front of me. He is one of my pack members and he keeps a close eye on Caroline. "I heard that you have some spot of Caroline in your heart", I asked him, rolling down my pen and he had a nervous expression on his face. "I like that girl but my loyalty to you matters a lot," he said, without inflicting any expression on her face.

Alpha Liam greeted my mate and offered his hand which Jacob gladly took. "How are you my friend?" Jacob asked and looked at Luna Cristina. "Luna," he greeted, giving her a glance and looking at Alpha Liam again. He didn't wait for the b**** Luna replied and introduced me to Alpha Liam, "This is my mate, Maya." he said proudly.

Maya called, excitement bubbling in her voice. Lily took one last look at herself, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes, and followed Maya out into the hallway. The moment the door opened, Lucas and Liam stood there, tall, broad-shouldered, and undeniably striking in their tailored black suits. There was silver detailing lining their collars, marking their Alpha status. Their presence alone seemed to change the air. Liam’s gaze locked onto Lily instantly and for a moment, everything else faded. “You look…” he started, then stopped, shaking his head slightly as if words failed him.

Liam asked earning a glare from Jeremy who wanted nothing more than to squeeze the life out of his stupid friend. "Fuck this, order him, Leon," Liam spoke with a smirk of mischief "Huh?," The brown-haired boy tilted his head in question "Hmm, you're right Liam, for once you were able to put your dumb and empty brain to good use," he mocked before turning his gaze to Jeremy "Well..thank you....what!" he glared at Leon after processing Leon's words he thought to be a compliment "I command you as your Alpha, tell me the name of your mate," Both Jeremy and Liam hysterically laughed out loud until tears rolled down their cheeks. Jeremy noticing the deadpan cold gaze of Leon asked

Allison started her face morphed into a scowl that made her look like an angry kitten. "No, no, I don't know him. Well, other than his name, I know nothing else about him." I shrugged, putting a piece of sandwich in my mouth while glaring at the one she held out for me. "But, I'd love to know about him though," I said after swallowing. "Liam is one of the Alpha's closest friends here, I've only seen him around every once in a while when he comes to see Alpha Knight about business or give his reports."

Liam defended with a smug smirk. “Don’t call me baby girl,” Anna rolled her eyes, scoffed, and looked away with folded arms. He diverted his attention to me not minding Anna’s actions but I was amused by the whole display. “I'm Beta Liam Gibson, the Beta of this great pack, the best friend to Alpha Scott Coldstone and the only man who knows his way to your mate's heart and you are?” he stretched his arm out in a courtesy bow.

I have never once before noticed Celine showing interest in any male in any pack before. I first called the Alpha of the Black Rock pack. We go a long way back and I consider him as a good friend. He gave me the green light about inviting their pack members and I also got some information about this Liam guy. His father is a respected warrior, an excellent fighter. And Liam is exceptionally talented too. The Alpha had nothing discriminating to say about this Liam. So I told my daughter to invite this Liam to the ceremony. I was curious about the boy who had managed to catch my daughter's attention.
