That must be awesome.” Beta Jesse says to me and I know in the eyes of all the Betas this is something they have never seen before and can only dream about. “I wouldn’t say its awesome. I am so used to my roll as Beta that I don’t know if I can ever allow myself to be an Alpha.” I tell him as we walk around the ground together securing the border. Beta Jesse then chuckled before he said, “Alpha Shawn, an Alpha is the same thing as a Beta but just one step higher. You still can train your warriors and lead them into battle. You’re just not the second man anymore but the first man in charge.”
