"Kill it before it attacks." The first mercenary fires his crossbow. The bolt flies straight at the wolf's chest, but the massive creature moves like liquid shadow. The arrow whistles past him harmlessly.

Their Alpha is the wordy, Armand Daniel. Then there’s of course the Tacita Mortes Pack, led by Teddy. They’re at the center, the ones that balance the four territorial packs. They are the Pack that makes sure every pack’s territory is well protected and monitored since the Alphas had long made a truce long before. Order and balance were served and every wolf shifter that resides in America lives in peace and is very much protected.

You're human it's like magic then -” Matt started rambling on about the command chain. “That's horrible.” Nora said out loud.

I growl at the man Dimitri still holds. The man smiles, blood pooling from his mouth. "Our Alpha." He laughs. A female can't be an alpha. No one would follow her. Except she's got her fighters going again. Everyone moves as the man laughs. Their fighters shift, attacking my fighters again. Why would these men follow a she wolf? I don't wait around for answers. Instead, I follow my men chasing the she wolf.
