I teased with a snort, and she giggled, texting him. After he replied, she continued driving again and we fell into a comfortable silence. My phone buzzed in my purse and I took it out, smiling when I saw a text from Alpha. Right as he turned around, I flipped the bottle over and squeezed it. This was just a little test to make sure he did not inject anything into the water through the cap. Luckily, I did not see any signs of a leak, so I opened the bottle of water and took a sip.

She cringed at that. "You don't like them?" I asked, confused by her reaction. "I'm allergic to nuts. When I eat them I puff up like Mrs. Puff from Spongebob Squarepants." With that, I woke up from my seat with confidence. Today would be the day she would finally speak to me. I didn't care if I had to pin her against a damn wall for her to do so.
