Our mate bond has always been plagued by separation. I agreed to call Nathan ‘Nate’ as the official mate's name. It’s kinda cheesy, but they were already into it even before they met me, so I guess I had to go with the flow then. Nate opened the door to the restaurant for me, and I went inside with them a few steps behind me. Every diner bowed their heads to him as we passed every table. This restaurant was owned by a werewolf and caters to werewolves specifically. A man wearing a black suit rushed to us, bowing his head lower than the rest, “Alpha.” Nate waved his hand and said, “Rise,” and everyone raised their heads.

She politely requested this from Alpha Nero. As Alpha Nero perused the menu, his sharp eyes quickly discerned that the names of the dishes were written in elegant Italian script. A faint smile played at the corners of his lips as he recognized the familiar language, and he felt a sense of anticipation building within him. The man cast a glance towards the waitress.
