Namun, menginjak kelas 5, Wanto meninggalkan tanah Jawa dan menetap di Sulawesi Tenggara. Wanto merupakan sahabat yang sangat perhatian. Mungkin satu-satunya teman cowok yang baik. Setelah kepergian Wanto, penulis memiliki dua sahabat perempuan yang bernama Ayu dan Halimah. Ayu merupakan anak yang sabar dan menyukai make up, sekaligus seorang non muslim yang taat juga menyukai bahasa Inggris. Bab selanjutnya, Ayu, Halimah, dan penulis bertenngkar saling menendang satu sama lain di belakang sekolah. Teman-teman yang lain tentu saja bersorak sorai menyemangati kami untuk beradu kekuatan. Hingga, sebuah kalimat meluncur dari mulut Halimah cukup mencengangkan,
