At Break Time

At Break Time

In the end, readers are crazy for being readers in a world where words flow down the monosyllabic drain of unculturedness. * This is a chronicle that I love, from the time when Bia was still married and she would gossip to me over the phone. Added a dash of comedy. I burst out laughing every time I read it! almost divorce "Your fart is so stinky!" ― And by any chance, is there a smelly fart? “There are the not-so-overly-stinky ones. You look like you died inside, you're rotten! Go to the bathroom or I'm going to pass out.

The Alpha Heiress: Lycan's True Mate

The Alpha Heiress: Lycan's True Mate

They have been good to me since the moment I met them. We spend the next hour talking about classes, professors, the insane amount of homework already piling up despite it being the second day. Next, Dylan gladly takes on the job of telling me stories about previous years’ pranks and legendary scandals that nearly tore the academy apart. Some of the stories are too funny, but others are so unbelievable and ridiculous that I can't believe my ears. Adam keeps offering dry commentary to each story, his fake seriousness making me laugh as I keep enjoying more of the sandwiches. After Dylan is done entertaining me with the stories, James takes over and starts explaining the academy's achievements

MY FORBIDDEN MATE

MY FORBIDDEN MATE

The call came unusual. And unexpectedly funny. Immediately I picked the call. Selene spends several minutes complaining about a disastrous street-food adventure she and Ravenna attempted earlier in the day. I haven’t laughed this hard. “You wouldn’t believe I’ve used the toilet for more ten times Liora.” “Oh dear, Thats what you get for being adventurous. I laughed so hard. We turned the experience into an increasingly ridiculous story. I found myself laughing harder than I had in weeks. The ease of the conversation reminds me of how far we have come.

The wrong side of the spotlight

The wrong side of the spotlight

Perhaps it wasn’t so bad. As they wandered through the ballroom, Deandre introduced her to investors, professors, philanthropists and business executives whose names she struggled to remember. Each conversation lasted only a few minutes before another guest claimed his attention. To her surprise, Amani found herself enjoying them. One elderly woman spent ten minutes discussing classical literature with her. A museum curator admired her observations on an abstract painting displayed near the entrance. Another guest laughed so hard at one of her dry remarks that champagne nearly escaped through his nose. Maybe Deandre had been right. Maybe these really were just people.

WOLF MARK

WOLF MARK

I'm afraid if they ask, the second attack will begin. - Soup with bones - just delicious. Your aunt cooks awesome, - Reed sat with a pleased look and ate soup. Actually, I made it. Yesterday. - Yes? Reed stopped. "I'm sorry, I should have said," aunt said, embarrassed. - So I got the hostess, - Reed continued to eat the soup. And my aunt and I looked at each other. He doesn't look like himself. What are some weird jokes? "Reed, don't you think he could set another trap?" - I still asked the question that worries me. There was no appetite, I just sluggishly stirred the broth in the bowl.

The Contracted Billionaire Heiress

The Contracted Billionaire Heiress

For the next few minutes, the conversation shifted to lighter topics. They told me funny stories about things that had happened around the house, and for the first time in what felt like forever, I actually laughed. Their stories were filled with small, humorous mishaps—like the time the gardener accidentally watered Mr. Dela Cruz's shoes or when a squirrel ran into the kitchen, causing panic among the staff. Their lively chatter made me forget, even if just for a little while, about all the chaos happening around me. It was like a brief escape, a reminder that life could still have moments of joy, even in the middle of a storm.

,I shrug. "Nothing?" "Nothing." "Where were you going to take him then?" "Spontaneous adventure." "What?" "Yeah." "Are you finally turning mad?" "Spontaneous adventures are the rage now." "Yeah. In movies ",Anshu rolls her eyes,"You'll be lost before you can say 'Where am I',given your terrible memory with routes." "Yeah. Whatever. It's not like it happened." "So you were upset over a date that didn't happen that you had planned but you didn't actually 'plan' anything?"

Accidental Bibliophiles

When my joke lands she tilts her head back to laugh, shaking her head as she looks at me. "You're ridiculous." She says. "You're smiling." I respond. She gives me that warm look again and I wonder what's going through her mind at this moment. "You got any other ones?" She asks and I wrack my brain for any other dad jokes. "Um... The circus lion ate the clown but didn't finish." I say. "Why?" She asks. "Because he tasted funny." I respond and Harper chuckles again. "More." She teases, but I just shrug.

FAKE HUSBAND, REAL TWIN

FAKE HUSBAND, REAL TWIN

“We’ll pull two tables together. Easy!” Adrian gave me a helpless look. I tried not to laugh. “We’re going to remember this forever,” I whispered. “Oh, definitely.” The first five minutes were fine. Then Leslie ordered a bottle of wine. And another. She had stories. A lot of stories. Most of which involved her cousin’s failed marriages, her neighbor’s weird obsession with taxidermy, and how she once mistook a priest for a waiter at a wedding and tried to tip him. Roger tried to jump in with weather updates. Actual weather updates.

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

And so, on and on ,like the osscilation of a pendulum, the disheartening piece of my bio churned while the sands of time dripped slowly and slowly as it watched my narration irks the soul of the spectators. That I thought, but it appeared to be nothing but a blunt lie. It was a revolving piece of gags and laughs. A piece of funny cake, a chunk of interesting cheese, a loaf of an adventurous bread and a real ginger to the spirits of the audience. They applauded.

Ryoshi
This is an interesting book with intriguing characters and premise. The author does well to draw the audience in and make them part of the story. The narrator feels very genuine, and I began to feel for him. Very well done.
Nightingale ✍️
Mhenn this story is Lit?. It keeps the reader drawn to the main character. At the first chapter I was already glued to how chuka's mistakes caused misfortunes to others. This is definitely a story y'all should read.
