Her soft pink hair had always fascinated her and she had asked her mother if she could dye it too. Her family had never shied away from talking about Agnes and her tiny daughter but they didn’t have much to say about the two. Several years ago, Beryl’s mother had told her of Aunt Agnes being married to a real fairy. Beryl remembered the grip of her heart when she’d seen the picture of a young, pretty Aunt Agnes standing next to a tall handsome man with light pink hair and laughing eyes. The part of the picture that had caught at her chest was the large wings sprouting from the man’s back.

Girls dressed as pixies with colored hair or wigs and silvery wings, men and women with painted blue skins in long cloaks, men looking like grim reapers, folks with long pointy ears, white hair, imitating elves, a boy in a peacock mask and golden diadem, laughing women wearing fox clothes, a man with long raven feather cloak, a gaggle of girls with beautiful flowers braided in their hair, men with feathers on their neck and some with large tattered wings. Samantha laughed and clapped, overjoyed at the sight of the shimmering bubbles. At that moment, Dr Aegle realized her mistake. Samantha had no sense of danger at that moment and now she was at the mercy of the stranger. He took the rabbit from the ground and lifted it up to his chest. There was a smile on his face as he went back down and told the other soldiers to look for Gorrum. It was only a false alarm and they thought that it was an enemy. Right behind a tree where they found the rabbit, Crystal was visibly nervous when she heard them coming. Fortunately, she saw the rabbit just in time. Using her fairy powers, she enticed the little rabbit and made it stand there. Unfortunately, though, her powers don’t work with the orcs. They are simply strong against a fairy’s power of taming. Thankfully, the orcs really loved animals and took the rabbit with care.
