Time
When I turn around, I see a massive wall of glass, which beyond, is the tops of many other buildings like this.
This place isn’t familiar at all. Violets, corals and oranges melt together across the sky as the sun begins to set. Lights flicker on from neighbouring villages. It reminds me of the Wisdom Pack in the mortal world, but so much more different.
“Ah, where are we?” I ask absentmindedly. Things seem modern, but the immortal world has always been advanced in comparison to the mortal world.
“Couple hundred thousand years later,” Time replies.
