Ashina the Lost Princess

Ashina the Lost Princess

Ashina - As I watched necks being bitten and bled from invisible sources, I became increasingly alarmed. My chant went: “All those who cannot be seen, let the leaves paint you green, so the invisible will appear and fight us visibly, not like cowards in fear!” I didn’t state I was good at chanting, but this worked. Vampires and other invisible creatures can now be killed. There were witches and vampires from the allied side attacking the rebel forces, and they were now winning the day. Turning as I felt a tap on my shoulder, I was startled and jumped slightly. Only to see my mother handing me a warty green frog.

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Iron Serpent Chronicles

"Yeah, right. That'd be one fucking awesome power. But I don't know that that's even in the realm of possibilities." Xander and I stayed silent. Scarlet didn't make a peep either. Ransom turned from the entry point. He looked at me, his face showing his disbelief. "Scarlet, baby, can you go invisible?" I whispered into her ear. She shook her head. "I can't go invisible at all, Taryk. I still don't believe you or Xander." I smiled. Her time of living on the streets finally showed in her: Her inability to believe anything she couldn't see.

Forbidden Paramour

Forbidden Paramour

Edward commanded. The two witches whispered inaudible ancient wordings under their breath and they were invisible again. I heard them move, the grass beneath their feet rustled faintly. They seemed to separate and created space between them as if flanking us. Edward took out a plastic bag of salt and buried his fingers in it. Grasp a handful of rock salt and threw it widely in the air. The salt particles flew overhead and the particles landed on the invisible witch had somehow nullified their invisibility powers. The male witch’s position was made known as his body flickered, disappearing and reappearing simultaneously until he appeared.

His contract Bride, His secret child

His contract Bride, His secret child

*Hidden Stitch Collective. No longer hidden. Amara looked at the sign. I looked at her looking at it. The specific quality of someone seeing a thing they had built become visible for the first time after years of intentional invisibility. Something moved in her expression. Not performed. Not managed. Just the real thing. "Ready?" I said. She looked at the sign for another moment. Then she looked at me. "Yes," she said. We went in. --- The warehouse smelled of industrial detergent and ambition.

You Left, I Could Have Fixed Us

You Left, I Could Have Fixed Us

“Before the castle. Before all of this.” “From where?” I shook my head. “You wouldn’t believe me.” “Try me.” I looked down at the letter again. The ink had faded in some places, but the mark was still clear a small crescent sliced through the centre by a single line. It wasn’t a royal crest or a common seal. It was older. “It’s the sign of the Shadow Circle,” I said quietly. His expression changed instantly. “That’s a myth.” “No.” I met his eyes. “It’s not.”

Luna Of The Lost And Forgotten

Luna Of The Lost And Forgotten

“In detail. What exactly went wrong?" The team leader straightened and turned towards me again. “The pass showed signs of activation approximately forty-six minutes ago,” she began. “But when we attempted to trace the user, there was nothing. It’s as if the system acknowledged a presence without being able to define it.” She hesitated, then added, “Like someone standing in a doorway without casting a shadow.” I felt a smile tug at the corner of my mouth. “Invisible,” I murmured. “Yes,” she said. “But not entirely. There was resistance. As though whatever shield they used wasn’t meant for this system—but adapted.”

THE PRICE OF WENDY

THE PRICE OF WENDY

Wendy was going towards the direction of the nearby bus stop to go to work, of course she couldn't see Willy standing there watching her with a half smile, because he was using the invisible mode on the Enabler; the wrist watch-like device. Oswald had taught him a few tricks on the Enabler. No one can see Willy, he was as invisible as the wind. Wendy was a stunningly hot 24-year-old young brunette, even in the non revealing outfit that she was in, It was easy to know that she had those wonderful curves beneath, just by the way she moved. Her eyebrows were naturally thin, without the need for the unnatural substitute of a dual thin eye-pencil markings; Her lips were perfect and natural in tra

Two Kingdoms, One Mate

Two Kingdoms, One Mate

"What have you done, Laura?" "Not now, Ludovic. Since you're king, command your men to stand down, and I'll show mercy to your kind." I looked at Iris and father beside me. "The problem is," my eyes changed, and my canines lengthened. Father and Iris stood close and poised, ready to strike, "it's in our nature to fight back. We're beasts, and we fight to the death." She flailed her hands, levitating in the air. The objects in the room vibrated. Empty glass flask fell to the floor, as the men scampered for safety. Her voice bsacme distorted as she spoke. "I am invisible. You cannot defeat me."

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

’ I had not tried it yet. However, there should be a sea below the Mausoleum of the Empress. So, I would not die. Just as I was about to jump down, someone typed, “Ailina, what’s bothering you? Why do you want to jump off the cliff?” I rolled my eyes and turned around, but I didn’t see anyone. In this game, there was a profession called Phantasm that had the skill to be invisible and could submerge beneath the ground. At this moment, it seemed that this person was invisible. But I know that he must be nearby.

it would be more exciting if POV only concerns ML n FL. it's a mess for me when all characters got their own POV. it's kinda mixed up n after a few paragraphs, another POV from other character n it goes on n on.

One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

A Flame in the Shadow

A Flame in the Shadow

And never accept a role you did not audition for. My hands tremble. This isn’t just reassurance, this is strategy. This is Lazriel saying: I’m still myself. I’m still dangerous. And I’m not done playing. Tucked behind the mirror is the last flourish, unnecessary, dramatic, impossible to miss once seen. A velvet coil insignia, pressed into wax, cracked deliberately down the center. Purposely split. His signal for a private audience. My gaze lifts to the hidden passage I hadn’t noticed before, masked by shadow, glamoured just enough to look like excess décor.
