He was gone. Raven stood at her desk, her heart pounding, her hands shaking. She looked at the lilies. White. Innocent. A lie. She picked them up and dropped them in the trash. "But how?" Raven tilts her head, whispering. "Come and find me, Lucy." I reach for her, but she shakes her head. A playful smile curls her lips, and then she burns to ashes. Bright red flames eat her alive. Her dark hair, delicate features, and silhouette disappear in the blink of an eye, and I cover my face with my arm. "So bright..." My heart is pounding hard, leaving me uneasy. I lower my arm and stare at the empty spot where Raven sat for mere seconds.
