Analog Horror Books Novels & Stories

I continue to read and try to understand the knowledge before me. I decide to pack these books and I go back for others. I grab several jars of herbs and such too. Several crystals who's importance I read. I grab a book on banshees, and another old book with marker on it's spine. It's so old the original print has faded. Incubi, succubi and demons. I drag it back to the room excited to crack it open.

After resting for a while, they walked around and saw a bookstore which they both agreed to enter. She was reading the back of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen when Jacob asked her. “What do you say let’s read horror books? Like the ones we watched today?” “Eh? I’m scared. You go read first, then give me a summary, then I’ll decide. Haha!” “Roger!” as he picked The Dunwich Horror and Others by H.P. Lovecraft and IT by Stephen King. They finished book shopping, it was around three in the afternoon when Jacob invited her to go somewhere else.

My fingers traced the spines of leather-bound books, all of them layered in dust that made my nose itch. "Focus," I muttered to myself. "One monster at a time." I immediately admonished myself. I continued to look until I found the books my dad had recommended. I pulled the four heavy volumes from the shelves. The History of Shadow Entities, The Blood Rites of the Unseen, The Search for Shadows and one volume of Pack Lore and Ancient Threats. I carried them to a secluded corner of the library. The dust felt suffocating, but I wouldn't let anything stop me.

The Mirabella library was steeped in a rich aroma of well-worn leather and hidden mysteries, its ancient shelves lined with tomes that whispered secrets of ages past. Autumn paced restlessly before the grand hearth, the flickering flames casting dancing shadows across her features, illuminating the pages of the Book of the Veilwalker. The sigil emblazoned in silver on the open page pulsed gently with a faint light, almost as if it were alive, its allure anchoring her attention like a siren's call.
