System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

Its shadows exploded outward, revealing what was coming. It used to be human. Maybe several humans, judging by the number of limbs. But now it was a twisted mass of flesh and bone, crawling on too many arms, with its multiple faces locked in expressions of agony. When it opened its mouths, the sound was like nails on glass, amplified a thousand times. "Amalgam," Amon breathed. "Class C. How the hell did it get this close to camp?" The creature lunged. Amon acted first, his shadows coiling around its limbs to hinder it. However, the creature was powerful, resisting the restraints with savage force.

A Deal with Desire

A Deal with Desire

Evie whirled around, her heart hammering against her ribs. A hulking figure emerged from the darkness, its form vaguely humanoid but twisted and grotesque. Its skin, a sickly gray, seemed to pulsate with an unnatural light. Two glowing red eyes stared at her with predatory hunger, sending a wave of primal terror surging through her veins. The creature let out another growl, a sound that scraped against Evie's sanity. It lumbered forward, each step resonating like a hammer blow on the stone floor. Evie scrambled to her feet, her back pressed against a cold pillar, her mind racing for an escape.

Soul Lovers

The shady long creature rose up leisurely, firstly exposing a head having many little twisted horns at the rear of it’s head as water trickled down while gazing with it’s wild-hooded yellow eyes at the unshaken EXTERMINATOR still emitting red and black vapor. Terror overtook few of the spectators’ face in the process the shady creature extended its permeable black scaly part of the body in what looked like a neck; a very long-necked creature to be precise, after, it curled it’s neck in a C-shaped just above the water over to the EXTERMINATOR drawing out a fork-shaped tongue from it’s mouth with a hissing sound. “It looked creepy.” One of Flavius’s siblings whom was a boy having a gap between

Alpha’s Glitch: The Dragon Architect’s Revenge

Alpha’s Glitch: The Dragon Architect’s Revenge

The creature crawled into the light. It was a nightmare of corrupted geometry. It looked like a wolf that had been put through a meat grinder and reassembled by a glitching AI. It had no skin, only a skeletal framework wrapped in a pulsating, oil-slick layer of Shadow Matter. Its forelimbs were two massive, sickle-shaped bone blades that struck the stone floor with the precision of a clockwork mechanism.

Marked by the enemy alpha

Marked by the enemy alpha

The creature that rose from the blood pool was no ordinary beast. It was a thing born of corruption and ancient hunger—a hybrid of twisted roots and sinew, its lupine skull crowned with antlers shaped from bone and bark. Black brambles curled around its limbs, and its eyes glowed with the pale, golden light of the Deep Moon, only... wrong. Twisted. Mocking. Kael moved first, his instincts taking over. With a feral growl, he shifted mid-step, fur erupting over his skin as claws lengthened from his fingers. His war axe fell to the floor with a clatter, replaced by teeth and rage. He lunged.

she barked, twisting her head. He was slumped nearby, struggling to his knees. Before she could reach him, something dark and massive moved between them—a shadow so dense it seemed to devour the light. It coalesced into a shape: four legs, two glowing eyes, and a mouth full of jagged, unnatural teeth. “You think you’ve won,” the creature hissed, its voice slithering like oil. Annabel rose slowly, her claws gleaming under the eerie light. “You’re a sore loser.”

ARABELLA: Mated to the impostor Alpha

ARABELLA: Mated to the impostor Alpha

Aunt Drucella says, pushing the book in front of me. I stare at the picture in front of me. A creature, built like a man, with the head of a wolf covered in scales with tiny furry hairs sprouting from its hedges. A primate with claws instead of fingers. I still can't understand. “What am I staring at?” “A Monogroth, A creature of darkness magic, created by Behemoth. It was last seen during the great war.” Greg says. “And was killed by your ancestor,” Aunt Drucella added.

Nemesis Of The Lycan Triplets

Nemesis Of The Lycan Triplets

And then, from the depths below, a shadow began to rise, growing larger and more ominous with each passing moment. As the creature emerged from the water, my heart seized in my chest at the sight before me. It was a beast unlike any I had ever seen, its form a grotesque fusion of scales and sinew, with eyes that burned like molten fire. Its body seemed to ripple with dark energy, casting an aura of fear and dread that hung heavy in the air.

Phasma

Phasma

“I am merely serving my master.” Just then, the middle of the room darkened. The center of the domed ceiling cracked. A dark apparition descended from it. A creature resembling a horse with three heads, its eyes flaming, the massive body of a bull with six taloned feet of a tiger and ended with the tail of a scorpion. It ran on a cloud of miasma and landed on the ground, its claws scratching the marble floor. Benson flinched. On top of the creature sat a man with skin dark as midnight. His black hair had wisps of gray that fell down to his waist in curls. The only color on his face were his yellow hawk eyes and his sharp white teeth as he grinned at the sight of his lost son.

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

The golden manes were now shredded and in place stood a furless pale creature with red eyes and jagged teeth. Crawlers? That is what they reminded me of, A more animalistic version of Orion’s Crawlers. The creatures attempted to growl at me but instead of something deep and menacing, it was a screech that sent a shiver down my spine, piercing every single nerve ending and shaking my very core.

Traci Williams
There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
