I can tell she is angry or worried about something, given how she is looking at the few children who are playing behind the store area we were currently at, I guess her anger was directed at the city. Lorenzo angrily paced around his office his mind clouded in thoughts. "So basically someone tempered with the security?" He asked Angelo, who was nervously sitting in front of him. "Yes." Angelo replied. Lorenzo chuckled shaking his head, "Now, who would be so fucking stupid to do that?" He asked. Angelo gulped. "Does it really matter, sir? I mean it happened, let's put this whole thing behind us." He laughed nervously playing with his fingers.

So I fake a smile, I'm hoping he doesn't notice. "Jeffrey hi." I try to say in the same way he called my name. I remember the last time I saw this guy I didn't want to believe in intimacy anymore. In a weak voice, I explained the situation I was facing over the phone. “Hi, this is Ariane. I wanted to let you know that I have given birth. So, I will be taking leave to focus on taking care of my babies,” I said with gratitude and hope. “Congratulations, Ariane! How are you and the babies?” asked the owner, his voice warm and caring. “Thank you so much! We are fine, but I am still feeling a little tired,” I replied with a smile, even though the phone couldn’t see my facial expression. “I will be sure to let you know when I am ready to return to work.”
