My name was Lindsey Hawthorn, and I had struggled with this compulsion for as long as I could remember. Everyone always thought I was a good, quiet girl, but only I knew the truth—the intense, almost unbearable craving I had for men. Just the sight of a strong, muscular man was enough to make me weak. By the time I reached college, this need had completely spiraled out of control. Sometimes, even the slightest friction while walking would trigger an overwhelming release. People would stare, probably thinking I had wet myself.

I started the sketch with her gorgeous eyes, all their fire and sadness. “We have to check on my Angel,” Stormy barked for the tenth time. I also wanted to make sure she was okay. Yet, differently from my wolf, I understood that smothering her would only make her feel uncomfortable and drive her away. Angeline was a force of nature, like thunder, wildfire. She was born to be free. That was one of the things that made me drawn to her. “We will, soon,” I told my impatient wolf.

She said in a sad tone as she stared at their photo. Angel lost her mother because of an accident when she was 13. It was two months after Angel passed the first stage of transition and found out that she was a Sin. The loss hit her hard and got deeply depressed, to the point that she attempted to kill herself atleast five times. Then, she met Aldrin. Al saved her and introduced her to the world of Sins and combat. It was when Angel started to live a double life to save her sanity and escape her depression. She used training to clear her mind and saw combats as her stress reliever. “Sometimes, I feel bad for this little guy.” She sadly uttered as she caressed Jiro’s face in the picture.

Her personal assistant, Augustine, is dead! Killed! And on close examination Angeline discovered that Augustine has a bite mark on his neck. “Who could have done this?.. What could have done this??" Angeline said then looked around. “I have to get out of here," she acknowledged then started running away but then from nowhere a male figure with red, blooded eyes appeared in front of her and grabbed hold of her. “Ahhhhh!" She screamed loudly. “Why are you in a hurry to leave, beautiful? The fun hasn't even started yet."

He didn’t even doubt why the elderly aunt knew he was a man, even though he was in a woman’s body. “Angelus inherited my genes. We’re both idiots.” Angelo said while quickly running to the flower shop. When he entered the flower shop, he immediately looked for the elderly aunt. “How can I help you, ma’am?” Immediately, a woman in her twenties approached. She has long, braided hair with sparkling eyes and reddish lips. She also had a medium height and hourglass physique. If Angelo is not so frustrated right now, he would have probably flirted with her earlier.

“Yes, he wanted their scent, but he also wanted to make sure your place was secure. As I said, no matter what happens between you and my son, my mate and I will always make ourselves available to you.” I walk around, looking over everything. It feels so empty here, so lonely now that I’ve spent a couple of weeks in the pack. Maybe I should just go find Meadow and Tate and we can make a new start somewhere else, away from all of this. “So, I’m guessing all this stuff up front is for the humans,” Angel says, looking at the items that I have for sale. I nod at her, smiling. “Where’s the good stuff?” she asks me, smiling conspiratorially.

Both of us were stood in the center of the war room, the map of Arleta spread before us like a bloodied shroud. Angus’s hand remained on the black envelope, his knuckles white. The air in the room didn't just feel cold; it felt shocking, charged with the same old power I had felt the day I shifted in the air above the Thane Wrest pack. "Angus," I said, my voice firm despite the trouble that rose from outside. "The silver dust, the kidnapping... they didn't just want to hurt us. They're looking for something. They're looking for her."

Carlos, Melody's partner, is working on construction, and Jasmine, Bryan's partner, is a nurse at the maternity ward. I swallowed hard, all her eyes fixed on me. I felt myself trembling from head to toe. Xander continued, Alexander: I found my Angel in terrible conditions, so she might be afraid of you at first. I ask you to be gentle and compassionate with her. The woman, Agnes, stifled a sob and approached me. Agnes: Of course, Alpha. She held out her hand and helped me up from my chair, pulling me into a hug. I felt myself freeze, my breathing quickening. I then smelled her scent of sugar and vanilla and felt my body relax and surrender to her embrace.

My eyes flashed with a silver light that was fading into blue. My fingers sank into the desk. The wood didn't just dent; it groaned. My strength was something jagged and wild. “Did you take Angel in?” I asked. “When did you start caring about a human?” Grey asked, his voice full of surprise. “I don't want her involved in all of this,” My heart was pounding against my ribs. “Not this. Not the Cranes. Not our pack. And definitely not the curse.” “She is a pawn, Grey,” I said,“Nothing more.”

asked Hannabelle with her eyes burning. “Because it seemed necessary. And remember, Bella, Nevada is so much mine as much as it is yours. So you cannot ask me this question. I know most of you except this beautiful young woman here, who I am guessing is your newest recruit, the succubus of Nevada, isn’t that right?” asked the man named Azure. I could not even think about looking away from him, he was so beautiful and I could only nod in response. It was apparently the first time that I was coming face to face with an angel.
