I can feel her touching me once again, and with her touch I feel the adrenaline rush to every pore of my being, engulfing me thirsty rapture and unquenchable desire. ‘This heaven and hell.’ I shuddered. “What the heck? Are you okay, Blackie?” ‘...’ My world froze as I stiffened.. A great way to dampen my uncontrollable excitement, but did I hear her right? Did she call me a dog, this Alpha King? My disbelieving eyes wild with exasperation with this unbelievable she-wolf. ‘I’m not a dog.’ I told her annoyingly. ‘Uupps, I’m sorry, my bad.’

I answered as I spoke into the microphone placed in front of me. A woman raised her hand, who I recognized as Alpha Mira of the Solitary Pack. She had my respect because she was the only female Alpha I had come across and regulating a pack was a hard task. “Why don't we all join forces then? After all, the war is bound to affect everyone; Every supernatural being and even humans,” she spoke in a genteel tone. She had a point, but a werewolf’s pride was intoxicating. This was something she wouldn't understand because women were selfless and thought of what would be best for everyone. But that was not the case here amid power-hungry men, who only thought selfishly.

I reached down and stroked his head, trying to give him some comfort. The lead wolf stepped forward, its eyes fixed on the Alpha. It let out a low, menacing growl, and I could feel the hair on the back of my neck standing up. The Alpha didn't back down, standing her ground and growling back. The two wolves were locked in a standoff, neither one willing to make the first move. Then, without warning, the lead wolf lunged forward. The Alpha met its attack head-on, the two of them snarling and snapping at each other. I could hear the other wolves growling and howling, egging their leader on.

The primal symphony of snarls, growls, and yelps echoed through the narrow alleyways, creating a cacophony of primal fury. As Brianna cautiously opened her eyes, she witnessed the Alpha’s power in action. His movements were a dance of lethal precision. Each strike was calculated to subdue the rogues who had threatened her. The rogue leader, seemingly aware that they mess with the wrong wolf, attempted to retreat, but the Alpha pursued relentlessly, and he immediately chased him. “Ah—I’m so sorry, Alpha! I didn’t know that the Omega was yours. P-Please, spar—ACKH!!!”

the Alpha said. “Yes, because unlike you, I don’t hide in my chambers while my men go out to attack people for no reason other than sadism,” I spat, then moved under the open legs of a warrior after which I pulled him by the hair then cracked his neck from behind. I saw the Alpha’s face tighten angrily into a frown, and I could hear his bones snap. His claws were springing out and I realised that he didn’t possess the ability to set his wolf tendencies aside when he was mad with rage.

The She-wolf was jumping in excitement because she won the fight, illegally but she will be rewarded by the Alpha. Her excitement dull when she noticed the surpassing anger of her Alpha’s face. Without giving or taking an explanation, Alpha Kieser twisted the neck of the She-wolf and killed her on the spot. Everyone gasped and stopped clapping for the she-wolf. No one dares to make the Alpha go crazy but why is he so angry? Everyone thought. Keiser approached the limp body of the wolf who had transformed back into her human form. He took her in her arms and inhaled the scent from her neck.

My wolf only snorts in return and before I know it, she lunges at Chris who is standing in front of the window and we are both launched out the window, crashing into the ground. She is standing on all fours, watching him getting up slowly, growling viciously. I can see the confused look on Chris’ face, probably because he is deeply wondering how my wolf could be such an idi*t for attacking an Alpha. F*ck what have we done? His father is a good man but the story will be spun around and we will be in so much trouble. That is if we run and get away in some miraculous way and are not killed on the spot for this.

HE SNARLED IN ANGER, READY TO ATTACK HER AGAIN. Everyone remained motionless, unable to intervene or restrain the alpha in his moment of fury. "I didn't... I didn't do it... I swear..." she stammered, crying in fear of dying. "LYING BITCH! I'M GOING TO TEAR ALL YOUR BONES APART AND LEAVE THE REST OF YOUR BODY BURNING UNTIL IT'S RAW, READY TO ROT, YOU'LL SMELL SO BAD THAT NOT EVEN INSECTS WILL WANT TO COME NEAR YOU!" HE SNARLED IN ANGER, AND HIS WOLF LET OUT A LONG AND TERRIFYING HOWL.

I scrape, bite, and claw my way out of the scuffle, snarling and barking, but in a defensive manner, trying to convey that I mean them no harm. These wolves are warriors, however. Trained to fight to kill. But a third wolf approaches, and my assailants immediately back off. The wolf’s fur is totally silver. His snout is a soft white in the moonlight, giving away his age. He’s an elder, and the way his warriors back away and bow their heads means he’s their Alpha.

"What does that mean?" "Orders," the first werewolf said. "They're acting on orders and they must follow instructions." I couldn’t listen anymore. I stormed towards them, my anger barely contained. “What did you just say?” I growled in a dangerous voice. The group of werewolves turned, their eyes widening in fear as they saw me. They were young, barely out of their training. They knew my reputation. They knew I wouldn't tolerate disrespect, especially when it came to those I cared about. They were clearly intimidated by my presence as the soon tobe alpha, and my current volatile mood didn't help.
