Tangled In Scales

Tangled In Scales

And then it happened. A deep ripple shuddered through the water as his body convulsed. His human form stretched, elongated, twisted into something monstrous. His skin darkened, deepening into an inky shade of blue as shimmering scales erupted over his flesh. His arms melded into his sides, his legs fused together, and his spine elongated into a powerful, coiling tail. The change was swift, violent, and by the time he emerged, he was no longer a man.

My Fallen Werewolf

Alex inquired, his curiosity mixed with a growing sense of foreboding. "I've been working on this to help you with your morphing," she explained, her voice trembling slightly. "I know it gets out of control sometimes." She brought out a vial containing a blue glowing liquid. "This will help you change into a man," she said, her eyes boring into his with intensity.

Mimic

Mimic

I remain silent during this process, still not sure what to think about this situation. “Oh, this isn’t good.” Axel exclaims, checking his phone. “I have an alert, the police are looking for a fugitive with telekinetic abilities who may be able to identify a high-risk Abnormal known as a ‘Mimic’.” He looks confused and turns to Myah, “Do you know what a Mimic is?” He asks. She doesn’t show any reaction but simply states; “I can’t think of anything relating to that, CC?” Myah looks towards her sister for a further response,

Sheep in Wolf's Clothing

"I will make it up to you, my child—" He was barely done speaking when his body began to convulse. He jerked away from me, screaming and staggering. I watched him in awe as he transitioned from one form to another. His bones stretched and realigned as though he were rubber. He grew, his height changing, then sank back into the human shape. It was almost as though he was unsure of the figure he wanted to end up in. His convulsions eased enough to slow the entire process down so that each alternating form lingered for a little while.

If I'm being completely honest, I would probably be far worse in my grammar as a native English speaker, so showing some grace & respect is of the utmost importance as Jennifer works hard to bring Laika and Karim to life for the reader. I hope she continues with many more stories or spin-offs.

This author writes so well and keeps me keeps me totally hooked. I can’t wait till the next update every chapter I read. If this book was already completed, I would read it thru in a couple days and not get anything else done except to just totally enjoy the story she has created. Love it!

My Stepfather Is My Mate

My Stepfather Is My Mate

Anxious anticipation mingled with dread as I approached, my curiosity warring with a growing sense of unease. With each step closer, my heart hammered in my chest, and a sense of impending horror gripped me. Inside the transparent enclosure, I saw shapes that made my stomach churn and my skin crawl. They were once human beings, transformed through an experiment they never consented to. The mutation had distorted them into grotesque creatures that resembled the mythical werewolves of old tales. Their bodies were covered in thick, matted fur, their muscles bulging with unnatural strength. Their eyes, once filled with humanity, now glowed with an unsettling, feral light.

The writing is very bad in both story composition & grammar. On plus side The story is unique & has potential

Alpha Rex.

Alpha Rex.

“It’s following the Axis signature.” Ash’s voice dropped. “So it didn’t just wander in.” “No,” Isabella said quietly. “It crossed for a reason.” Another tremor rippled through the earth , stronger. Stones shifted. Birds scattered from the trees. Then a shape stepped through the tear in the sky. Massive. Not wolf. Not human. Something in between. Its silhouette shimmered as if the world struggled to decide what it was seeing. Silver light ran like veins beneath translucent skin. Horn-like arcs of energy curved from its head—not bone, but power.

BLOOD MOON:Wolf Pack Trilogy

BLOOD MOON:Wolf Pack Trilogy

I enticed him to a vacant cargo area where numerous cars were stored and parked. I waited for Alectryon to catch up with me by standing behind one of the automobiles, but he never did. I could sense hot eyes following me as I moved to find my predator. With a terrifying roar, I saw him snarling at me from above, causing me to collide with one of the automobiles. In reaction, the automobile wept and cried out. I cry out in anguish as pain shoots through my whole body. I was bleeding from my leg and could feel the parallel venom weakening and stiffening me as I strained on the ground to get up.Alectryon approached me, his face and skin completely transformed into a chimera-like creature, and I

And then I see it. The vision takes form slowly, as though reluctant to reveal itself. A creature emerges, stepping into a silvery light that feels alive. Its body is feline, massive yet impossibly graceful, its iridescent scales shimmering like the moon’s surface. Ethereal green fire burns in its eyes, ancient and knowing as if it sees through time itself. An Ailuranthrope.

They were called shifters, and numerous cases of them flourishing had been set on a few gatherings online. She wrinkled her nose as she looked over through the websites, checking out a few recordings as well as individual accounts that had been confirmed. She observed one that portrayed a huge man growing searing orange hide and morphing into a tiger right in front of her eyes. The picture was a bit foggy, but it would be uninformed not to at slightest concede something like that was possible.

Panther

The twenty-five from Zanes pack, twenty-eight of my people, and the rest were panthers who had been trickling in the past few hours. I ran in the very front, Zane and Nate at my flank, followed by Willow, Levi, Leo, and a blonde guy that I hadn't learned the name of yet. For the first half, we were in animal form. Nate gave everyone this very interesting... Fanny pack? For lack of a better word. It stayed on around your middle, in wolf or human form. It had enough room for my shirt, underwear and socks, and pants. They were very tightly crammed in there, but they were in there. The ones of us that wore shoes, carried them in our mouths. A lot of the more nomadic panthers wore nothing but the
