It was almost as though he was unsure of the figure he wanted to end up in. His convulsions eased enough to slow the entire process down so that each alternating form lingered for a little while.

I could sense hot eyes following me as I moved to find my predator. With a terrifying roar, I saw him snarling at me from above, causing me to collide with one of the automobiles.
