A bright, light-blue light flashed out of his hands with force, sending the wolf flying into the air. Skylar rolled onto his hands and knees before quickly standing, just in time before the next rogue launch for him. Skyler pulled his right hand back behind his ear before thrusting it forward, and the same light blue light shot out of his hand, creating a shockwave effect and briefly blurring the lines of reality. Time slowed down before speeding up, and when the rogue hit the now invisible wall that came from the Omega's hand, blood splattered as his face bounced off it, and he flew backwards.

I shifted into my wolf form and ran toward all of my pack members who would go with me in the Shadow Pack. We ran fast to the Shadow Pack. Alpha Rozen's pack is too close to the Red Moon pack, so maybe, we will take a few minutes to reach our destination. I glanced at my side and felt some unfamiliar wolves running with us. The pack members didn't even feel them. They're running as fast as they can. I saw a black rogue who was going in front. My eyes expanded when I saw Almera in front. "Almera!!!" I contacted Almera out loud using the mind link. But it was too late for Almera to notice the black rogue, who suddenly appeared to her, struck her.

I nodded in agreement. “But he usually visited during the holidays until his Father passed away. He had to take over as Alpha and we discovered we were fated mates. I have always been called a wolfless Omega, for Kian it was an insult to be mated to an Omega and one who has not been able to shift for years!!” Eric’s eyes shone in amazement, “No wonder you were unable to heal quickly as expected.” His words tore through my heart leaving me in pain for some minutes.

Kassandra's POV: First off let me tell you how I got to be an omega in my pack. It was one tragic night when I was 14 and I was at home with my parents, the alpha and luna of the Red river pack in texas. I had just got home from school and went to take a nap when I heard a noise from the living room. I went down to check it out and saw that three rogues had found their way into our house. Next thing I know my father was dead and my mother told me to run and that's what i did.

Ember Frost’s POV “Arrrgh!” A deafening roar tore through the air from beyond the wall of twisted, mutant plants. Seconds later, the thick, writhing greenery was shredded as a pack of werewolves pushed through the gap. At their forefront was Orion. His arms and legs had already shifted into wolf form, giving him the raw strength of a predator while still keeping his human balance and precision. “Orion! Over here!” I shouted, ducking under a snapping vine.

Laney gave a small wave and headed out the door. Amerie smiled after her then followed Allen around the office to meet the other rangers. She met Matt, a tall man with long blond hair pulled into a bun; Casey, a short, energetic woman with kind eyes; Tyler, a stocky man about her height with shoulder-length black hair; and Maya, a curly haired woman just an inch shorter than Amerie with a powerful athlete build that seemed wise beyond her years.

His sharp golden eyes remained fixed on Dave, the silver mist surrounding his tiny frame growing thicker by the second. “Baby,” I called softly, nudging him gently. His body tensed before finally relaxing. He turned to look up at me and smiled as if nothing had happened. “Time’s up,” Ragnar said. Before the final word even left his lips, the air itself seemed to fracture beneath his dominance. His body twisted and expanded, bones snapping into place with terrifying speed as he surged into the enormous form of his midnight wolf.

With each exchange of blows, I could feel the power behind his strikes. He wasn't just any ordinary rogue wolf. It felt as though he was being backed by something even stronger than my alpha strength. It was all I could do to hold my own against him. It was during one of these intense moments that he found my weak spot. Before I could hold him off, the Reckoning swiftly morphed into his wolf form. He roared and leapt towards me, giving me no time to morph myself. As his brindling body collided against mine, I felt a sudden impact against my side, and I was sent sprawling to the ground. Pain radiated from my ribs as I hit the dirt, momentarily dazed.

His voice sounds more of a phonograph recording than anything else. Our job is to keep the Ravens in check like supernatural herders, which partly explains Yama Ranger’s dated fashion sense. Kera has her wings, Yama Ranger a flying tar-black horse tritely called Nightmare, and Ankou drives a horseless wagon that creaks and groans as the whole thing flies across the sky; the sleigh of an unholy Saint Nick. The sleigh has the same physics-defying dimensions as a circus clown car in that it never gets filled no matter how many dead bodies we pile on it. As for me, I’m able to tread nothing but air when I transform into a full-on giant and six-legged Wampus Cat.

A high-pitched frequency buzzed into our skulls, like the sound of the world grinding its teeth. Even my wolf whimpered. Wolfsbane. It howled inside me, the voice of my wolf thrashing against my ribs like a beast trapped in a burning cage. We need to get the fuck out—NOW. Too bad, I snapped inwardly. We can’t fucking move. His command only works on humans. If you morph—I can get out. Tell the others. Tell everyone to morph! How do you know? I feel it. His power can’t touch the wolf. Now MORPH!
