I sit down and he sits next to me, deliberately leaving a few inches of space between us.
I look him in the eyes and take a deep breath. "I'm your mate, correct?" I ask.
He nods.
"So that means this is a mark?" I ask, pointing to the bite.
"Yeah," he mutters, uncomfortably rubbing the back of his neck.
"I don't know much about werewolves but I'm pretty sure it isn't supposed to hurt this bad, so why the hell did I black out?" I ask angrily.
"That's because werewolves aren't supposed to have angels for mates," Diana says, looking over at us from the window.
