Anna ran her hands over her nose as she stared at the small library in the storage room. She let out a sigh, her hands digging into her her hair and dust accompanying them. "Where are you?" She muttered, pushing all the books to pick one that didn't look familiar. The whole storage was filled with half open books that she had thrown on the floor. After flipping through a few pages of the newest book, she groaned angrily and threw it on the ground, frustrating digging under her skin. She was looking for the fourth book of the witches and it was somewhere, she was sure of that.

The woman climbed a short ladder and began pulling down a few books. “These should help,” she said, setting five large, dusty tomes on a nearby table. “Sorry about the condition they’re ancient. Let me know if you need anything.” “Thank you,” Anna said as the woman walked away. Rhea and Anna sat cross-legged on the floor beside the table, surrounded by the stack of heavy books. Their covers were worn, their spines cracked, and the pages yellowed with time. Each had a unique title: 'Tales of the Mystical Creatures', 'Powers', 'Hidden Behind the Voice', and two others with faded letters too difficult to read.

Jenny POV Anna bent down in a panic and picked up one of the scattered documents from the floor, her eyes scanning the page rapidly. In just a few seconds, the anger and arrogance on her face faded, replaced by a strained composure that barely concealed her unease. She clearly hadn’t expected me to produce this piece of evidence. Her lips trembled as she shot me a vicious glare, then made a move to tear the document in half. “Go ahead,” I said coolly. “I’ve already saved the original copy digitally.”

The whispers and stares finally quietened, I guess the rumors finally died down. I was at my table in class, when a girl walked up to me. "Jinny right?" She had short brown hair with purple highlights, pink full lips and a nose ring "Yeah" "Hi, I'm Rebecca," smiling, she stretched out her hand "Nice to meet you" I smiled back, taking her hand "Are you new here?" "Nope" "How come I haven't seen you around though?"

“I didn’t know they’d come! I fought them, Leo! I fought for all of you!” His eyes flashed with fury, but his grin deepened. “You fought?” His voice dripped with derision. “Oh, Anne, you didn’t fight for us. You fought to save your own skin. Deep down, you knew. You’ve always known. You’re just like them. A wolf hiding in sheep’s clothing.”

“This is the only piece of truth you spoke in weeks.” He grabs her arm and glares at her. “Who are you?” he demands. “You are not an omega, are you?” Anna pushes him away and stands up. “I read books because I am an assassin and it is my job to hide myself in the midst of my victims’ social circles!” She reasons. “I merely happened to stumble upon the book in one of my many assassinations and it is the last book I read before I was blinded.” Lavi also stands up, not convinced with her logic.

I simply don’t know how to protect the alliance, without taking my fiancée as my Luna. As I am about to take her hand, I feel Anya’s hand on my shoulder. “Still breaking it to the little Lily pad that you are rejecting her, Jar?” she asks. “Anya, it’s not that easy,” I start to say. “Oh Jar, it’s super simple. You reject her, she accepts, end of story,” Anya says.

“What if Aceli is right, Ann?” Some suspicious details were actually the reason Pandora was in such a dazed state. Maybe they weren’t too obvious.
