The October air bit at my skin as I stepped from the cab, my white feathered wings catching on the door. I wore an angel costume, a short white dress hugging my curves, flaring just enough to hint without giving it all away. A halo bobbed above my head, glinting under streetlights. Tonight's party was the talk of my circle, a secretive Halloween orgy at a mansion beyond the city limits. Masks promised anonymity, and the air buzzed with forbidden possibility.

Anabel walked with Misty down another hall and into her room. “Here I think you will like this one the best.” She said handing Anabel a silver gown. “I know the Council will listen to you if you are wearing this.” Anabel looked down at herself, she felt pretty looking at herself in it. “I guess I should take a shower before tonight.” She said walking out of Misty’s and into her own room. She took a shower and put the gown out. She did her hair the best way she could.
