"Show me something." There was a moment of silence like an eternity. Lyda's eyes were burning in anticipation. Just then, she heard another series of voices coming from behind her. Lyda turned around to see a faint light appearing in the dark distance. It grew until it formed a pillar of light that was almost too bright to look at, and yet, it was still stifled by the heavy darkness. It looked almost like an opening doorway.

Lalaine was shocked when she found Stella laying on the floor, the moon light illuminates her like flittering lights in the night. The crystal orbs surrounds her, slowly lifting her from the ground. She immediately called out Nana, Aeriol, Nathaniel, and Lynx. Aeriol immediately pull out Stella from the illuminating light and lay her to bed. Nathaniel and Lynx looks out the window and saw a beautiful red rose. As if the moon light blessing it. The more light it absorb, the radiant the color gets. Lynx trails back to Leis last words.

ANNALISE In an instant, a mesmerizing light floods the area, captivating my senses. It shimmers with neon rainbow hues, casting a spellbinding glow that engulfs the space. The once-present ceiling has vanished, merging the radiance of the full moon with the vibrant colors. Struggling to shield my eyes from the blinding brilliance, I blink several times. My gaze shifts to my three motionless companions, frozen in time.

Placing the tray on the side table, I opened my laptop, letting it boot up as I took another bite. Not bad. Not bad at all.

LUNA'S POV I looked at myself in the mirror. I was different from the usual girls you'll see in New York. I had pure black hair, a round face with big gray eyes, a small nose, and a curvy shape. I was very well endowed but even though I was body confident, I got a lot of unwanted attention. I looked at the time and realized I was late. I bolted out of the house and ran as fast as I could. I couldn't wait for the bus and my workplace was just ten minutes away.

The warmth of his skin burned my system, making me feel alive. “We're not riding your monster of a bike?” I asked when we began to walk. He shook his head and glanced at my direction. “It's just you and me tonight.” And that was enough to say that I was captivated by him. I barely know him yet he managed to sweep me off of my feet. We enjoyed the cool breeze of the night and the simple conversation we had along the way. Unlike the other two clubs I've been in the previous nights, this one was not loud and jampacked. The purple neon lights read Sphere and there was no long line of people waiting to have their turn inside. True to his words, we'll definitely have the night to ourselves.

"Anna, my family funded your education. We brought you from that remote pack to the Moonshadow pack so you could learn. And this is how you repay me?" Anna's eyes welled with tears. "I'm sorry, Alice. I'll return to the remote place I came from tomorrow..." Alexander pulled Anna behind him and looked at Alice with cold detachment. "That's enough. Yes, your family may have helped her, but that doesn't mean you get to hold it over her head forever. Anna's been through enough." Alice stared at him as the last flicker of light in her eyes went out. She turned and walked away. Out of nowhere, headlights suddenly blazed from behind her, and the loud screech of tires could be heard.

The red indicator light is no longer flickering. It burns a solid, unblinking crimson. It isn't just watching me anymore. It's transmitting.
