Lost in Billionaire's Life

Lost in Billionaire's Life

With a slight flutter, Leah stepped inside. "Good morning, how can I help you?" said a receptionist while observing Leah's very neat and classy appearance. "Good morning, I'm a new employee for the Public Relations division, Ms. Lopez asked me to come to work today," Leah replied confidently. "Ahh all right, please wait a moment on the sofa over there, I will immediately contact Ms. Lopez," said the receptionist, whose name was pinned with the name Rita Abbot on her chest. Leah nodded, then headed for the sofa in the waiting room after saying thank you. She looked around, everyone seemed busy with their activities.

Ex-husband Demands Remarriage

Ex-husband Demands Remarriage

This was definitely a secure building. “Ms. Sterling, welcome to Vee’s Apartments. I hope you enjoy your stay,” the woman said with a smile. “Thank you. Is my apartment ready? I’d really like to rest. It’s been a long flight,” I replied, glancing down at Parker, who clung to my skirt. I was wearing one of my formal suits, and she always got shy when in public. “Of course,” the receptionist said. “You’ve been upgraded. Everything’s set. Just take the elevator, press ‘P’, and it’ll take you straight up. Oh, and your telephone. When it rings, it’ll be us calling to ask about visitors.”

Divorcing him: Mr billionaire doesn't want our baby

Divorcing him: Mr billionaire doesn't want our baby

There were hardly any people on the first floor except a bored looking receptionist who sat behind a desk typing furiously on her phone at the inquiry desk. She looked up with slitted eyes when I said hello to her as if she could not believe I had dared to interrupt her. "And you are?" She asked, her lips curled up in an aggressive expression. "The new applicant called for an interview today. I was told to ask for directions to the interview room here." I said as politely as my annoyance would let me. "New applicant?" She chuckled and returned to her phone murmuring under her breath. "All kinds of people are visiting here today."

I don't know if I can continue reading. Though the premise is good - the author lacks the ability to story cohesive. Many times I find time gaps and sequence issues that I have to go back and recheck to see if I missed anything. I find this story frustrating to read. I've moved on for now.
Fiery pen
Hi, my darlings. It was thrilling last year to write from my heart and I’ve learnt the lessons you were trying to teach and as such I’d like to announce the arrival of my new book—lost heiress;Mr right offers me a second chance. It’s a big improvement, you’d know from the instant you start it. Enjoy

My Children's Alpha King Dad

My Children's Alpha King Dad

I roll my eyes and watch as the receptionist approaches the desk. “The phone has all of the numbers of the building saved. We have a list of the numbers as well as the corresponding name to the department it goes to. Don’t hesitate to call! We are here to help!” She smiles and pushes away from the desk. She heads to the elevator, brushing past me. I watch as she goes but reach out, the words stammering out of my mouth. “Wait! I have a question!” “How may I assist you toddy, ma’am?” She asks.

The CEO'S Favorite

The CEO'S Favorite

I press on the nineteenth floor and wait patiently. It seems like it takes forever before it finally reaches the nineteenth floor. When I step out, I pause for a second, taking the floor in. It looks very elegant with everything being white or gold. There's another reception here and I approach the receptionist. This one is not as friendly as the one from before, only greeting me with a curt, "hello." "Good morning. I have an appointment with the managerial department by nine o'clock." "Name and ID." "Aria Jennings," I answer, simultaneously showing him my ID card.

Back To The Billionaire For My Baby

Back To The Billionaire For My Baby

Pressing the key code to enter the main door of the apartment, the woman walked into the luxurious looking lobby where a man had greeted her, “Good morning, Miss. Are you new here?” A man who she thought to be the receptionist greeted her politely with his eyes looking at her from head to toe, examining her looks like she did not belong to the place. Looking at the man, the woman said without a smile on her face, “Apartment 3A, Akira West” “Are you family? Friend?” the man checked on his computer and took a glance at the woman with a frown, “There seemed to be no record that Miss West is expecting a guest today”

THE BET

THE BET

When she entered the building she walked to the receptionist "Hi" "Hello ma'am. How can I help you?" "I am here to see Jayden" "Jayden?" The receptionist couldn't help but look at her closely. "Jayden, your boss?" "Mr Jayden?.. sorry do you have an appointment?" "No but..." "I am sorry ma'am. Without an appointment you can't see him. He is a very busy man" "Oh, okay. But can you atleast call him or his PA..." "Ma'am I am sorry but I am not allowed to disturb them unnecessarily" The receptionist was getting rather impatient 'we manage to get rid of that Miss model, where did this one come from now?'

MY BOSS’s DAUGHTER

MY BOSS’s DAUGHTER

As she approached the reception desk, the receptionist, a young woman with bright eyes and a flawless smile, looked up, her gaze lingering on Maite for a moment before she spoke. "Good morning," the receptionist greeted her, her voice tinged with a hint of awe. "Can I help you?" "Good morning," Maite replied, her voice warm and confident. "I have a meeting with Mr. Hilaire." The receptionist's smile widened as she reached for a small notepad. "Of course, Maite," she said. "Please have a seat. I'll let him know you're here." Maite nodded gracefully, her confidence radiating outwards. She settled into a plush armchair, taking a moment to observe the bustling scene around her. The lobby was fil

Dusk Till Down

Dusk Till Down

This place looked more like a hotel than a beverage company. "Good morning, how may I help you?" The female receptionist greeted me politely. "Hello, I'm Avery Green. Two days ago I made an interview appointment for the CEO's secretary position." "Well, Ms. Green, you're just in time." She replied while typing something on her computer. Then, she dialed a number and was connected to a call. On the call, she spoke softly. Finished with the call, she looked up. "Please follow me," she said as she exited the desk area.
