I spoke softly and received a smile from her in return, Niklaus just took some tea and settled with a book indicating that this conversation could take a while and he was busying himself with the words of an author I have never heard of. Aphrodite was wearing a white floor length dress that looked light in fabric but was decorated with little gold flowers, as she stood and made her way to where I was sitting the dress floated around her and made her look as graceful as grace itself. She was associated with a variety of symbols…” as he spoke, I paid rapt attention to every single detail. I was already taking a mental note to read more on Greek mythology during my free time. As my gaze drifted back to the painting, I noticed the name of the artist written at the edge of it, “‘John William Waterhouse,’ Interesting.”

When our transformation is complete, I turn in place until I see a lone woman sitting on a throne in the room. “Ah, Iokaste. You made it just in time.” Aphrodite looks at the setting sun. The golden glow makes her even more deceptively beautiful. Dark red lipstick that looks suspiciously like fresh blood accentuates her natural beauty. She looks back at me and motions with her hand. A loop attached to her middle finger holds a billowing sheer cape, adding to the dramatic effect. An invisible force pulls me into the middle of the ornate compass rose at the center of the room. “I’m glad you changed your mind, but I don’t see what I asked for, silly dog child.”

Aphrodite: I sat at my desk, my fingers flying across the keyboard, as I worked on the latest updates for our matchmaking app, aiming to make everything much more sophisticated. Everything was set–the graphite pencils, markers, colored pencils , ink pens etc. I started with the overall pose, sketching out the outline of her body. I added the head and face according to Adeline's – round shaped face, gorgeous green eyeballs, plump pink lips with fine contours. I remembered every detail of how she looked.
