Some stupid prophecy?” “Could you at least listen to what it says?” She snapped, clearly growing impatient and so was I, as I really wanted to know what the prophecy was about. There was silence before she barked, “Thank you,” then she continued stiffly. “It says: There will come a time when packs rise against each other, and the order and balance of the realm will shatter. In this era of chaos, a Luna shall be chosen by the goddess herself, blessed with the moon’s power, her fur gleaming silver-bright like the full moon.”

He proclaims. Tears fall from her eyes and she slowly dies. “That's where you're wrong.” Athena says and her eyes glow an icy blue shade, taking him by surprise “I, Luna Athena, Luna Queen of Crescent moon, make this prophecy. The Crescent moon will be ruled again by the bond of a human and a wolf. And humans and wolves will live in harmony side by side….” She stares directly into the eyes of her abductor “....and you will die by the hand of those you call weak and pathetic. You will die by the hands of a human.” And she gives up the ghost.

She interrupted me. “I know what I am saying. They hate me, I’m new here”. “They don’t, and why would they hate someone they haven’t seen before”. I kept quiet, but I knew they would hate me once they know I’m a hybrid. That was how it was everywhere. I had never been accepted, no one in my family had ever been, and it wouldn’t change even in the future. “They have no right to hate you. You are out Luna and mate to our Alpha. Hating you is just as being hateful towards Alpha Vaughan”. Her voice was oddly soothing, but I chuckled softly.

Helena quickly gave Chloe a push. Supported by the temple attendants, Chloe carefully stepped out through the doors. I dragged my weakened body to the window and watched the spectacle outside with cold eyes. Apollo stood by the chariot, didn't so much as glance at her, let alone offer a hand. "What's taking so long? My patience has limits." He tossed out the words coldly and climbed straight into the chariot.

Hades naming Proserpina after Persephone was a move meant to pacify his wife since he's bringing his kid to their home. I don't think I had the time to explain it more in the story but the tattoo that Alastor mentioned "peeking on the back of Proserpina's neck" is actually a swirling petal of a black spider lily that reaches down to her spine. Now, while Phaethon was making his journey, Apollo sat in his great throne room on a huge throne made of pure gold. This was the quiet hour before dawn when night left its last coolness upon the earth. And it was then, at this hour, that Apollo sat on his throne, wearing a purple cloak embroidered with the golden signs of the zodiac.

“I don’t need-“ I stopped as my eyes fell on Apollo. He was shirtless, his caramel skin glowing in the sunlight. His muscles toned, he looked as though he was moulded by the mother's own two hands—pure perfection. I forced my eyes to find him. His lips tugged up in the corner as he took me in. His perfect purple eyes, looking back at me. “Apollo, what are you doing here,” I asked, confused. Audra gripped my arm tightly. I looked back at her giving her a reassuring smile. Her grip loosened as she stepped back. I turned back to Apollo, finding him now in front of us. He reached his hand out and tucked a stray hair behind my ear.
