The other four had shifted back into their human form and, by the look on Nick’s face, that fence wasn’t supposed to be there. One of the Alpha’s men grabbed the fence before James could stop him. He cried out and James grabbed the closest fallen branch and slammed it into him to break the electrical current that flowed through him. He jerked for a second from the shock but recovered except for his hand. A nasty burn scarred his palm, proving what James had suspected to begin with. “The damn fence is electrified and Xavier used silver, too,” James spat with disgust, and Nick growled loudly.

The concentrated magnesium fire blinded Julian’s sensors, and the heat warped the armor’s neural-link. Julian let out a cry of rage, stumbling back. Dante didn't wait. He lunged, grabbing the jagged remains of a glass shard from the wall and driving it into Julian’s neck—the only part of a Kingslayer that was still flesh.
