Out of nowhere, a bone arrow sliced through the air and struck his chest with a sharp hiss. The arrow, upon contact with Jim's blood, glowed a sinister red. His face contorted in pain, and suddenly, his grip failed him as he plummeted from the sky. I dashed forward, my heart racing, and leaped to cover Jim with my body. The Haunts erupted into mocking laughter. "Jim, we've taken apart the bones of the mortal who wanted you dead and crafted them into these arrows. Take one more step and we'll pin you down in front of your own troops!"

Every part of that place listened to me now.

Another archmage explained. The whole conference room went into silence. Afterward, the Great Archmage narrowed his eyes. Before he could say something, a huge red firework exploded in the sky. "What?!" They all exclaimed in horror. "His Majesty passed an order! Activate the second array! The protection array of the kingdom was already destroyed! The vicious beasts were about to enter the premise of the empire!" "Damn it!" "Report! A hoard of wyverns had entered! They went in the direction of the Capital!"

PRINCE ARCHER had been walking for nearly half an hour, his sword on his right hip, his bow and arrow and some nets and traps on a knapsack on his back, when he spotted Aurora, her bright red hair glimmering under the rays of the sun. She was crouched on one of her traps, holding a fat, brownish rabbit. “Aurora!” he called. She turned to look at the sound of his voice, her eyebrows furrowing. Despite her unwelcoming expression, he still felt joy in his chest upon seeing the lady again. He jogged towards her, only stopping when he was an arm’s length away from her.
