Slowly, I turned my head and came face-to-face with a who could only be described as a god in human form. Oh my God! My subconscious screeched in disbelief. God sent an angel indeed. I mean only angels can be this good looking, right? He had dark silver eyes and jet black hair which made him look divine, complementing his god-like look. Strands of his hair fell on his face. His sharp jaw seemed as if it was carved by God himself. And the silver lip ring attached to his pale pink lips was my last undoing. With eyes glued to his lips, the only thoughts that claimed my mind were;

Does he really think so low of me? "Ha! You sound as if you are afraid of the little dragon. She doesn't even kbow gow to use her magic or shift. Hell she might not even be able to use both because she is of human blood as well. Why do you fret so much?" Argus replied, amusement in his voice. There was a heavy slam on the table and a pattering of feet. I braced myself against the wall and prayed he wouldn't come out.

ALEXA'S POV “Mr. Morgan is not my type, just as I'm not his type. This was just a mistake," I said, and I saw how his face turned cold, with his eyes as dark as an abyss and emitting a deathly aura. He looked so wicked and dangerous, yet so handsome, like a dark angel. He ran his hand through his hair and looked at me intently. He took in slow and calculated breaths, clenching his fists and releasing them. I realized he must be trying to calm himself down and not flare up at my words.

Argus calls out interrupting our conversation while sprinting towards him at full speed as fast as his little feet can take him. As soon as he reaches him Ragon crouches down by his feet and ruffles his hair. It has been merely a week and those two were prompt to forge a close bond. I informed Ragon that Argus's dream is to be a top warrior and that he also holds the capability to be a strong beta in the future. In return, he promised that he will train him accordingly and make sure his dreams are fulfilled.

His words echo. I shake my head and try to get to my feet. "They used a blocking spell on him. It will take a while for him to pull himself together. He is drunk on the magic they used," Libby says. Alpha Mayhem shakes me. "Stop, that will not help, Alpha," Mother Agnes says. "Help me to my feet, please," I ask Alpha Mayhem. I am so weak. I cannot stand it. Alpha Mayhem pulls me to my feet, but my knees buckle. Alpha Mayhem leads me over to a chair in the kitchen.

I watch with glee as blood the color of tar splatters everywhere. Without a thought, I move close to one of the hives and hover my hand over their bodies. The locusts move with my movements but do not attack. Curious, I try it several times with the same results. I’m so entranced by all of the death that I don’t realize Lucifer is behind me until he talks, “What the bloody hell is happening here?” Turning around, I look at him and sneer. I know that I shouldn’t be acting this way, but something inside me refuses to care. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t the devil.”

“ That’s my good girl… “ He mumbled and we danced together with the lights. Everytime the spotlight focused on us, my dress automatically lights up as a reflection of the glitters in my upper part. “ What did Argus told you earlier? “ He asked with his actual emotionless eyes. He guided my hands to grabbed his neck even closer that causes my heart to gone wild. All I can hear was his alluring voice and all I can see is him. Nothing more! “ Well, he told me that I’m beautiful and my name su------- “ I quickly stopped when I saw how his head frowned. His eyes began to get darker and his lips was slightly raised. What’s his damn problem?!
