I turned back towards the front of the ship, fumbling to change the clip – BLAM. My left bicep burned like a flare had erupted inside my flesh. I roared in pain and flattened against the wall. HANA "Don't you dare?" I warned him. Bash snickered at me and continued doing his very annoying job, measuring my body with his hand. "Three," He cheered, pressing his thumb between the valley of my breasts, eliciting a shaky breath from my body. "Four," He says, his thumb pressing my belly button. I smacked his hand away, making him chuckle. He moved my top aside despite my attempts to get his hand away from my skin. His touch, warm and safe spread across my waist. I sucked a breath, momentarily closing my eyes before I was reminded of what had happened.

“You’re trying to say you’re more observant than me.” His presence was heavy behind me, his sinister aura pinning me to one position. If only I had my sword with me, I’d be able to slice the current and move away. Now I could only whimper in despair and let him speak like a twisted Alpha. “You’re silent.” I felt his hand on my waistline, searching and moving along the waistband. “Alpha Ryu…” “Such a nice armor, don’t you think?” His hand moved up to my abdomen, making slight turns on the position where my belly button was. “You know, in the deadly Fang pack, you’d need a million General currency to get such profound armor.”

I hugged my arm to my chest, the skin still burning where his fingers had dug in. Then Aaron’s voice broke the silence. His voice came out lower and softer this time. “Let me see.” I looked up. He was standing close now, his eyes not on my face but on the arm I cradled. Slowly, carefully, like he was afraid I might shatter, he reached for me. I let him. His thumb brushed over the reddened skin, his touch gentle but firm. His jaw tightened, and for a second I swore I saw anger flicker in his eyes; not the wild, reckless kind Justin had shown, but something controlled and dangerous in its own right.

He lost consciousness, and she picked up his gun, rushing into the building. Upon entering, a gun fired at her, hitting her right arm. "Ouch," she winced in pain, finding a safe place to hide as blood dripped from her arm. "Where are you, little cat?" she heard the men say. Lisa, holding onto her bleeding arm, tried to suppress the pain. It was her first time getting shot, and she wondered how Alessio had acted like it was nothing when he was shot. "Come out, little cat. You won’t be able to escape from us," the men taunted again.

Nicole felt happy to see that her son was quickly adapting to her family. He went from one set of arms to another, and everyone was delighted with him. They ate amidst laughter and jokes, and for the first time in a long time, Nicole felt truly free. After a while, she heard the doorbell ring. Nicole stood up and headed towards the door to see who it was. When she opened it, she was surprised to find Bruno standing in front of her. He had his arms crossed over his chest, wearing a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves and jeans. Nicole looked him up and down, realizing that he still stirred up the same emotions in her. She cleared her mind to be able to speak.

Alpha Blade POV My eyes went to the wrist watch on my hand and I couldn’t help but notice that Emily was forty minutes late. A pint of beer was dropped on my table and when I looked up, my eyes met the stern eyes of the old lady that owned the coffee shop. “You shouldn’t have come here, Blade.” She said. “It’s too risky.”

I tried to run, but he caught my foot and swung me to the wall and the floor consecutively. I had to use my power to protect myself from the impact, but it was hard to keep up. "No!!! Arie!!!" Ayla screamed as she broke free from her father's restrictions and drew a sword to slash his back, causing him to loosen his grip on my foot and jolt in pain. I ran away as fast as I could, panting as I went, not minding the restricting pain all over my body. I turned around and shot another arrow, aiming for his core, despite my sight being blurry while he was still regaining his posture. I poured all my remaining energy into the arrow as I released it.
