The alpha explained. The alpha looked at them to look for a sign of agreement and he did not fail. Both the beta and the gamma bowed and smiled at him as a symbol that they agreed. It has been a tiring week for them and a celebration from the winning pack is not a bad reward. They knew that they would enjoy the celebration.

The last thing any of them wanted was all of the guards from the entire property pouring down on them at once. Once Alpha Harding was dead power would immediately be transferred to Luca. He would become the reigning Alpha in the region and the title should pass to him. The warriors in the area should immediately recognize him as their leader and the fighting should end. The key word in all of this, of course, was should. Dani had felt wary when she was going over all the plans with Kent, Waylon, and Michael on the car ride there.
