The light pulsed, and for a moment, it felt as if time had stopped. The arbiter’s glowing aura flickered, his golden eyes widening in realization. He tried to move, to counter whatever force was at play, but it was too late. The light exploded outward, a wave of energy that knocked everyone off their feet.
“I recognize that glow.” The arbiter said. “It feels celestial. Astrid?”
