Damon As expected, it took me half an hour to reach the designated place. The location mentioned in the secret message was an old loggers' cabin known as Artemis Inn, a mere half-hour run from the Wild Fang camp. Its name is derived from its proximity, offering historical shelter to those wandering the woods. Artemis Inn stood small and quiet, ideal for a restful night after exploring the woods outside the Blood Rose territory. The structure, entirely crafted from wood, boasted a 500-year history, giving it a rustic yet cozy charm.

I sit at the window and stare outside for a long time after that. I watch the backyard. There’s a few housekeepers in the yard cleaning up the party from last night. "I'm ready! Can we fly there? Like Hermes does?" Before anyone could respond further, a gust of cool mountain air swept through the hall, carrying with it the fresh scent of pine and wildflowers. Artemis appeared suddenly from nowhere, landing lightly beside them with the grace of a hunting cat, her bow slung across her back and a quiver of silver arrows at her hip. There she was standing in her window and glancing out. I walked very close to her to see what she was focused on and noticed Kane standing in the garden making a phone call. I froze. What the heck? "Don’t forget you are here for a job. Don't make me fire you. trust me, there are a lot of women out there who wouldn't mind being in your place." I said, grabbed her back neck, and pushed her to the bed beside us.

“ Do you still wish to hide in the horse's shadow till we reach Oake or … ?” Amaria asked, The hybrid scratched his cheek and looked around and replied,“ I will stay in its shadow ”without waiting to hear the second question. Amaria sighed and commanded her horse to move while the Hybrid went back into its shadows. *** At Ashmael Empire's Castle, She stepped into the huge round bathtub with scented candles lit around it, her body soaked in the warm water, feeling it hug her skin gently, breathing in the aroma of the rose petals, she exhaled and let her body float.

Artemis POV I woke up in a medieval period-like room. All of the furniture looks so expensive. I can't help but curse when I felt the pain all over my body. My hand is also tied. The tie was a bit stupid because I can quickly take it off. I was wearing a white dress while the wound on my body was clearly visible. I'm not sure if I'm still at the Palais because the design of this room seems different. I winced when I felt how much my arm hurt. I even cringed when I saw that there was a tracker on my foot. I just closed my eyes there. Now, I'm sure I'm still in Zelo's place.

Artemis tells me urgently. "Take over, Artemis, get us to safety." I told her. Suddenly, Artemis takes over and runs out to the balcony of our room and jumps off, shifting in midair. She lands on the ground gracefully and starts running towards an isolated part of the pack. I decide to mind-link my mates while we run. Me: Artemis told me we had to get out of the packhouse straightaway and to somewhere isolated. I'm not 100% sure what's happening, but I trust her.

When we finally left the sun was setting and Artemis looked like she was about to cry. “They really didn’t want me…” I heard her whisper from the back seat. I smiled as I was satisfied with the results of destroying any hope she had of ever getting away. I knew then that she would be in my control and I could keep her as mine for as long as I deemed her worth of keeping. I knew then that I had to make sure no one else knew about her or remembered her because I couldn’t risk anyone recognizing her. When we returned to the pack house I informed Craig that Artemis would not be allowed to leave the house anymore. He didn’t question me and she was so depressed about her family abandoning her that
