SERAPHINA’S POV ‘Wire and Ash’ The blinding spotlight sliced through the ocean mist, turning the pitch-black deck into a stark, blinding stage. After that slash, those four Red Moon kamikaze soldiers who were still working together to attack Shaun Yarn stopped moving altogether and were petrified to the spot. First of all, it happened because the swords in their hands… were all broken. On top of that, their throats had been neatly cut, their blood spurting out of the cut. Finally, all four Red Moon kamikaze soldiers held their necks and fell to the ground, dead.

When they had found their balance and found themselves moving inside the ship with ease, they started to run and advance towards their enemies with only one goal inside their mind. Ash’s POV The roar of the clubhouse hit me before I even turned off my engine. Laughter, shouts and the sound of bottles clinking rent the air and for a moment, I wonder how they could easily fall back into their normal lives less than twelve hours after an attack. It was chaos the way I remembered it, but somehow louder and more… non challant. Inside, the air was thick with smoke and sweat. A few brothers cheered when they saw me, others nodded, their eyes sharp, reading me like they weren’t sure what version of Ash had come back.

I can hear the hissing and growling underneath us, an ugly sound that sends chills down my spine. ‘Hold on,’ Ashton warns before dive-bombing towards them. My heart races at the sudden drop in altitude, but I grip tighter onto his scales, preparing myself for the battle ahead. With a triumphant roar, Ashton unleashes a torrent of fiery flames, incinerating the first line of vampires in an instant. Cheers erupt from our pack below as they charge forward. Wolves and vampires clash in an explosion of fur and fangs while Ashton continues to reign fire from above.
