I shouted, dodging the advance of a third soldier. “Don’t get distracted, outcast!” Chloe’s shrill voice echoed from behind the purple smoke. She had emerged from the shadows of the medical corridor, her hands marked with that dark rune from the Dead Lands, her eyes burning with a mad envy as she looked at my royal attire. Chloe carried no swords; instead, she held a black crystal vial containing mystical poison, which she intended to hurl directly at my face.

Elise rubbed Logan’s chest. “Don’t be mad, Logan. She doesn’t want to come out of hiding, so we should just go ahead and cremate her father. “Since she refuses to show up, let’s make sure she doesn’t get a chance to see him again.” Logan shifted his attention back to Charles’ body. It took a while before he said, “Alright.” I smiled cynically. It turned out that resentment could run deep. As Charles was pushed into the incinerator, Logan filmed the entire process and put it up on my social media page.

Chloe is under the impression that he is waiting for her, just like she asked him to wait. In these three years, she never once contacted him. She was so confident that he would wait for her, because she feels like men like beautiful and successful women like her.

But deep down, he knew that the truth, when it finally came to light, might be more than he was prepared to handle. The next morning, Chloe decided to visit Alex. She dressed meticulously, knowing that her appearance would speak volumes. Chloe believed that her presence alone commanded attention and respect, and today was no exception. She wore a sleek, figure-hugging dress, her hair styled to perfection. As she approached the house, her heart pounded with anticipation. She was trying so hard not to punch this silly guy right now. “If I was her, I already punch him hard.” Chloe said after she had done laughing. “Honey. You will punch me hard too?” Austin, Chole's husband asks her. Chloe shakes her head helplessly. “No. I will not use my fist with you. I know you will not be hurt by it but mine will.”

They fell and Hayley walked past the ax. “The three of you are going to die today.” Hayley said as she took another step forward, she channeled her magic and was about to blast them before her head fell from her body. Chloe used the ax to cut off her head. She was really fast. She screamed as she struck the dagger on her head and her skull broke into two. “I guess a vampire has more advantage.” Chloe said with the ax in her arms. Her face was covered with blood. She dropped it and rushed towards them.

Chloe’s cruelty, his daughter’s near death, the lies on television—it all converged into one truth. Chloe had crossed the final line. A slow clap echoed in the hallway. Ares turned sharply, his eyes narrowing. Chloe strolled toward him in her short dress, makeup flawless, her wine glass still in hand as though she had walked straight out of a party. “Well, well,” she drawled, her smile sharp as glass. “I heard there was…an accident.” Ares’s blood roared in his ears. His hands curled into fists. “An accident?” His voice was low, deadly.

Chloe had her own scores to settle, and manipulating Ashley was just another step in her grander scheme. After pulling on a sleek black dress and a pair of dark sunglasses, Chloe ordered a car. She didn’t have the luxury of living in Ava’s mansion anymore—thanks to Ava’s meddling assistant—but that didn’t mean she was done playing the game. If anything, it only fueled her need for revenge. Arriving at the quiet café they had agreed upon, Chloe strode in confidently. Ashley was already there, looking tense and impatient. Chloe smiled to herself. ‘Good. Let her stew.’

Today he is noticing it more than ever. While Aria was helping him, Chloe entered his cabin without knocking. When she saw Asher and Aria together, she became angry. "Ms. White, what the hell are you doing? Step away from my boyfriend" she snapped at Aria who immediately took a few steps back and away from Asher. As the super model, Chloe is very arrogant. She is so angry, that she stormed towards Aria and raised her hand to slap her hard across her face. But before Chloe could touch Aria, Asher grabbed her wrist and stopped her.
