Dawn Verlice was mad, she was very, very mad, she saw red as she entered the door with a bang. Ashely did not stop her at all, her presence grabbed Bryan’s attention and Jayden’s as well. Bryan’s face paled and horror covered his face when he saw Ashley right behind Dawn as well. I said. “That will be taking too long,” Dominus said and before I could blink, he knocked Tumult unconscious. Dawn rolled her eyes as I nodded for her to continue. Dawn moved to stand in front of Tumult and then closed her eyes. Like always, Asher stood right behind her as if to take her out of there if something went wrong. We waited patiently until she opened her eyes. “This guy here is a fool,” Dawn said pointing at Tumult. “What do you mean?” I asked.

'I am glad to be here with you, Your Majesty,' Mara said, returning my smile. I walked up to Asher and laid a placating hand on Dawn's shoulder. She lifted her face to me and I could see how red and puffy her eyes were from crying. 'Blood tricked down his right nose some minutes ago. What have I done?' Dawn said as fresh tears flowed down her face. 'He will be fine Dawn. Let us hold on to that,' I said then sat down beside him close to his shoulder and put my hand on his chest as I sent energy into his body to try and heal him.

“I only have to run Burton’s old pack; you have to run the entire Kingdom.” “Only for now,” Xaden reminded him; he turned and spotted Asher standing off in the distance, watching everyone with curious eyes. His eyes were like no other; they were green with black swirls; they were like marbles and incredibly beautiful. His dark hair was long enough that I could tie it into a ponytail.

When we turned to look we saw dawn in a beautiful lilac gown that hugged her body perfectly. She had grown into a beautiful young women. Her black hair was pin straight and hung down to her waist. Her green emerald eyes were piercing and her tanned skin was clear and glowing.

GRACE'S POV APRIL 12th, 2013 There was a sound. It came first as a distant ringing, sharp and persistent, like something fighting to pull me back from wherever I had fallen. It cut through the quiet darkness, growing louder, closer, more insistent. “Grace?” “Grace!”

He held a small leather pouch in one hand and a glass vial filled with dark ash in the other. “Miss me?” Axel’s voice dripped with arrogance as he tossed the pouch onto the table. “I got what you asked for. Dawn did not rise over Arkael. The sky fractured instead, veins of red lightning rippling through black cloud, as if the heavens themselves had cracked open to witness what might be the world’s final breath.
