He said, waiting for something, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. “Uh, are you waiting for something?” I asked confused. “Yes, actually. A delivery.” He said curtly. “A delivery? You know humans are not allowed here, right?” I asked him with widened eyes, wondering if this love had made him lose all sense of reasoning. “Relax. It is a wolf that is doing the delivery. I know the guy. How do you think I get all my things to the pack? I have a personal delivery guy!” Asher said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

Rose pov “ gotcha’ asher said, passing a cocky wink at me, “ well congratulation ma’am, for your third attempt you get a rattle” he said unhanging some traditional rattles from the set hung meticulously on the gift board. “ there you go” “ well, I would have loved you getting some other instrument before we go , but it would be incomplete, if we don't visit the store first,” Asher said smiling widely as he takes my hands, taking me off guard, he ran towards the stores, “ hey hold on!” .

____ Third Person POV Genelia shook Asher, trying to wake him up from his sleep as he moaned, whined, and wailed for help. He was breathing heavily, twisting and turning. She knew this all too well. It happened for years, and only stopped after they moved out of the pack. "Asher! Baby, wake up!" She shook him harder. But when it didn't work, he poured some water on his face. "What the -" He groaned, wiping out the water from his face as he woke up. It was already morning, but not his waking time.

She adopted the reverse technique to erase his doubts. “And she didn't tell you anything?” “Is there something I should know? You've been going round in circles and we're not reaching anywhere. Do you know something I don't know about my assistant?” “I went away for therapy, Ashley.” He suddenly informed me. His expression had softened with guilt seated within. Ashley had long decided not to let pity sway her. Dead were the days when she used to worry for him because she had taken the life of his lover. When she didn't know who she was and tried to please everyone, and accommodate his nonsense.

“They’re not real. They can’t be. Vampires and werewolves and witches, that’s a huge stretch, but fine, okay, maybe, but dragons?” My pulse raced. My hands trembled. The words hit like a punch in the gut. I took a step back. Then another. “You’ve made a mistake,” I said. “I’m just a girl. Just Nora Carver. An unwanted orphan with a bad attitude and a glitchy brain. I don’t have power. I don’t have a legacy. I barely even have a past.” Ashleigh’s hair turned a pale gold as she said, “But now you have a future.”

The crack blazed brighter than ever. For a long moment no one moved. The clearing was silent except for the hiss of the crack in the marker and the distant retreat of paws through underbrush. Mist drifted back in to fill the space where the pack had stood. Ava pulled herself upright against the stone. Her hands trembled. The silver glow had withdrawn into the token but left a faint shimmer under her skin, like moonlight trapped in her veins. She could still hear the echo of the whisper, softer now but insistent: Daughter of ash…

“For example, if you want revenge, I am clearly the better option. I don’t hesitate, I don’t protect ungrateful adopted sons and I don’t leave enemies alive long enough to learn confidence.” Dax dragged him harder. Asher twisted just enough to look back at me. “Also, I would never give you boring revenge. I’d give you the satisfying kind. The kind where Jasper wakes up every morning wishing he had chosen peace, then remembers I’m not done teaching him regret.” Despite myself, my lips parted in stunned disbelief. “Asher!” “What?” he asked, offended, while Dax practically hauled him toward the door. “I’m helping her heal.” “You are harassing my mate.”

“I would’ve thought I was dreaming.” The woman who gave birth to her… who raised her… Fell to her death right in front of her. Her body broken beyond recognition. Blood everywhere. Screams and cries echoing in her ears. Asher had always thought his heart had long gone cold, that nothing could stir him anymore. But listening to her now, watching her small frame tremble as she forced herself to relive it… Something in him shifted. He didn’t know what it was. An urge. A restless, unfamiliar impulse.

Golden light spilled across the hospital grounds, bathing the trees in warmth. Almost unconsciously, her feet carried her toward the eastern observation corridor. She found Arman exactly where he always sat. The notebook rested on his lap. The forest stretched beyond the glass. He looked up when she approached and smiled. "Hello, Doctor." His voice carried the same warmth it always had. For a moment, Aisha found herself unable to speak. Because she was no longer looking at a psychiatric patient. She was looking at the boy from the drawing. The boy who had spent sixty years waiting for a family that existed only inside his own heart.

I made my way through the dark corridors of the dungeon, my heart burning with a desire for revenge. I had been betrayed by Luciana, the very person I thought was my friend and ally. But now, I was determined to make her pay with her blood. I reached the cell where Sam and Morris were being held, and I could see the fear in their eyes as they looked up at me. "Who are you?" they chorused together. "The spirit that has been haunting you. I am Ashley, the Luna you all killed." They were white with horror and their teeth clattered in an attempt to speak.
