I heard her let out a deep sigh before she answered me. "Astrid, what should I do?" She began to cry, and I felt bad for her. I struggled to understand what she was talking about, probably because of the sobs that escaped her lips through the suppressed sound of hiccups, but as usual, I just choose to be a friend of hers that is willing to listen to all her rants.

Now and then, my eyes stole glances at mom and Jeff. Huh, look how they laugh together like a love-drunk couple. That's disgusting to me. "Oh, dude," shouted Astrid, getting off the bike. She immediately hugged me "why is it so suddenly? What about Arley? Asked Astrid. She's the only friend I have. She has exotic brown skin with shiny black hair, and she has long lashes and an oval face like mine. There is one dimple on her left cheek. It adds to the sweetness of her face.

“No... but something’s different. This is... something else.” Just then, my phone rang. I answered it, and the words on the other end made my heart stop. “What’s wrong?” Ivar asked, his face tense. “Astrid... she’s given birth. But the baby... the baby isn’t just any child. My child... he’s a Moon Healer,” I whispered, barely able to believe what I was saying. I gritted my teeth, grabbing my keys and heading for the door. “Where are you going? What’s happening?” Ivar asked, trying to block my path.

Ethan stood up and began walking toward me, I was on defence in case he tried to do something to me. I was caught off guard with a hug, he wrapped his arm around me. I didn't know what was going on. I was confused, I didn't know what was going on but I knew that there was something wrong with him hugging me. “I am so sorry for being so weak, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me, Astrid.” He said as he kept hugging me, this made everything more confusing than it was already. I broke from the hug and looked at him.

The lady uttered that Astrid paused from what she was doing. "You're so annoying, why would you approach me? I don't know you at all, are you one of the insecure bitchs? Are you lacking attention or something?" Astrid forced a smile, she was starting to get annoyed and she knew that she wouldn't be stopping herself from grabbing the girl's collar and hitting her hard using the thick book she was reading.
