It wouldn't hurt to briefly look around. All I had to guide me were the rumors and myths about the Fae and their realm. The problem with myths, is that you never know what might be real. Myth says the Fae can't lie, but no one has ever been able to prove that. Out of all the legends I knew, there was one fact. Monsters came from this realm, some harboring magic while others had claws, fangs, or poison. All were deadly, and all caused death when they managed to find a portal and cross over. Remembering all of the myths I knew, I suddenly felt very exposed. My eyes darted around the clearing, looking as far into the forest as I could.

My thoughts came into halt when Glade and Deborah shouted loudly. “Earth Celestial Magic: Reformation!” they both exclaimed. A combination of blinding green and brown lights engulfed the whole arena. Earth Celestial Magic? Wait, plant and flower are both variation of Earth Magic. And Taurus and Aries are both celestial spirits that have earth attributes, too. That makes sense. I never thought about this thing. I never thought they can use the highest form of their own magic combined with their celestial magic.

There was a purpose to his question, a hidden meaning I couldn’t quite grasp. “Most of them were just that, stories. But there were some old myths, particularly about divine gold,” I continued, my voice a low, thoughtful murmur. “They said it was the only substance that could pierce the hide of an otherwise unkillable being, a metal forged in the heart of a star, blessed by the gods themselves.” Hypatos brushed the topic off too quickly afterward, a sudden, almost forced shift in his demeanor. “Just a thought,” he said, his voice a little too casual, a little too dismissive. “A silly myth. Forget I mentioned it.” He stood up, his movements stiff, a sudden urgency in his demeanor that was out

She turns her face fully to me, and I see the gut-wrenching hurt in her eyes. "We're supposed to be mated in two days. How can I get mated to someone who doesn't even trust what I say?" I frown, feeling the reluctance coming off her waves. "What are you saying, Heleni? " There have been times when wolves rejected their mates, but I have always been a firm believer that what the Moon Goddess decided, we shouldn't ignore or break. She looks at me with heartbreak in her eyes and the muscles around my heart clench in despair.

I leaned against the headboard while Jermaine dragged a chair beside my bed after waiting for me to get up. He must have thought I would welcome him on the sofa, but nope. I'm too hurt to do that. We, Southern Olf people, don't believe in the phenomenon of the 'fated mate' blessed by the Moon Goddess. We see this phenomenon as a form of restraint and a disgusting phenomenon. Why? Because the whole concept of a fated mate is just lust.

Nyx gave a small nod. “That’s right.” Lyra felt a wave of realization. “So you’ve known about the Weaver this whole time?” Nyx looked uneasy for the first time. “We knew it might return one day.” Cael shook his head. “And no one thought to mention this earlier?” Nyx shrugged again. “Most people believed the stories were just myths.” Lyra looked down at the ancient star chart again. The cracked black moon stared back at her from the stone surface. But now that she knew its name…

"Sure, what do you want to know?" Davina hesitated, searching for the right words. "I was wondering about the significance of the full moon in werewolf legends. Is it true that werewolves are more powerful during a full moon?" Lucas chuckled, a knowing gleam in his eyes. "Ah, the full moon myth. It's a common misconception, actually. While it's true that some werewolves experience increased strength and heightened senses under a full moon, it's not a universal trait. The moon has no control over us, despite what the stories say."
