“That would be true, but my help always comes at a price, she agreed I could take a memory from her as payment, I chose to take the memory of her meeting us here, your brain cannot have later memories of someone without the initial meeting point, so her mind cleansed the later memories, leaving her with none of me or this place,” Al’ik said with a smile, pointing to a glowing jar on the shelf against the wall.
