Atlas chuckled and pinched her nose. “You little gossip queen.” Still, he didn’t hide it from her. “I had one of his legs crippled.” He said it as casually as if he were talking about the weather. Naomi was stunned for a moment. Seeing her expression, Atlas thought maybe he’d gone too far, that she’d be scared.
