It was annoying to see these hypocrites pretend as though they care about Atlas when I knew very well that they were the ones behind this morning's shooting. Suddenly, West frowned at Atlas as he asked, “Who did you offend, nephew, for such a terrible event to take place at the company.” The hallway grew silent, and Atlas intensely stared at his uncles. Then his expression deepened into a frown as he said, "Except you guys, I offend no one." Quietness immediately fell in our midst, and I could see fear hiding behind the calmness in Atlas's uncles' eyes.

Chapter 28 Azara The atmosphere was electric with tension as Atlas made his way towards me. His face was as hardened as a rock. I struggled to break through those impenetrable golden brown eyes that refused to betray any feeling. As usual, I failed. His face was a mask and his expression was flat. A knox of anxiety twisted in my stomach and my heart hammered against my ribs as if it was about to jump out. My breath came out ragged as guilt started to claw through my chest.

You’re not weird!” I protested. He scoffed and rolled his eyes. I have never seen him doing that before. “Yes I am!” “No, you’re not.” I insisted. Atlas sighed. “I am weird and you know it. I act like a ghost. No emotions, no expressions, I am weird.” He said.
