Atticus cleared his throat. "I want one of your maids as mine," Atticus replied. Elizah stared at him coldly. "You are negotiating maids with me?" he asked in a chilly tone. Atticus gulped and shook his head. "The one I want is under your charge. Her name is Adara, your personal maid. I want her," Atticus explained. Hot fury swept through Elizah's features. His stance tuirned predatory. "What did you say?" he questioned darkly.

Atticus enters the room cautiously, taking in the sight of the three of us on the farthest side of the U-shaped couch, facing the door and him. With slow, non-threatening movements, he made his way to the section directly across from us.

He carefully picked him up and gently draped him over his shoulder before walking into the cell across from that one. He picked up as many as he could and carried them out of the building. It took him many trips, but he didn't stop until he had each and every one of his people out of those cells and lying in the grass, away from the building.
