When they were out of the main drinking area, where the nightclubs and bars were located, Lucas allowed himself a small, satisfied smile. Ema would be pleased. After weeks of failure, they were positive that they would receive exactly what they had been looking for. Astor followed the smell to a little, independent bookshop nestled in between a thrift store and a vegan café. Over the door was a sign that proclaimed ‘Bookmark Haven’ in finely chipped gold paint. Indeed, the bookstore was closed, and all the windows in it were blind, but Lucas was convinced the individuals were still alive in the building.

Zivah smiled, “Let’s go someplace where we can read and eat and stay for hours.” “The Book Café.” I said excitedly, it was our favourite place to hang out. It was a beautiful café with all junk food available and books kept in shelves and wooden tables and chairs to sit, sort of like a library with food. And it felt amazing just being there, the peace and ambiance. “Oh manh, I can’t come.” I muttered sadly, remembering that the hacking just happened yesterday and there is still no trace of catching the hacker. “I have to go to work.”

He doesn't seem to worried so I try not to ask any questions. We both head out and he drops me off downtown at the small cafe that I work at. The small shop sits on the business corner in the city's most profitable location. "Annies" is the name of the cafe and we are surrounded by firms and corporations all located in central downtown. I enter the building immediately throwing on my apron and hoping on the front counter. Mrs. Ann smiles sending me a wink as she heads off to do inventory. It’s the same each day we have people bustling in and out of here from 7 am until 5 pm secretaries, clerks, lawyers, everyone and I greet them all with a friendly smile even those who are not so friendly.

Ava's POV We decided to meet at lemon drops cafe, which was my favorite cafe in town. Lemon Drops Cafe had a really nice and cozy look. The tables were made of wood and had small vases with cute yellow flowers. The chairs were all different, it's like they were collected over time, giving a homey feeling. The walls had a mix of bricks and soft colors, making it a pretty background. “Yes, you can. I got this.” Lily turned back to Atlas, who was waiting patiently. After a beat, she sighed. “Fine. But if this is some elaborate scheme to get me into a hiking trail, I’m out.” Atlas laughed. “Noted. Come on.” Lily wasn’t sure what she expected, but it definitely wasn’t this. “A bookstore café?” she asked as they stepped inside the cozy space. Atlas grinned. “You get coffee and books. It’s basically your version of paradise.” Lily glanced around, taking in the warm lighting and endless rows of bookshelves. She had to admit it was perfect.

“Vivi, I can’t respond to all of your questions but I promise you, we are going to find the answers. Trust the goddess's plans, I don't want to interfere in her way.” The girls and I had a good time, we ate lunch at a little coffee shop and bookstore run by a couple from Greenway Pack. The combination of books and coffee, what’s not to love?” The relaxing atmosphere of the cafe lulls me into a calm I haven’t felt today.

I take a step ahead to lean fully forward, eyes contracting to zoom into the top right corner of the screen. “There is completely no signal here… it’s not like we’re in the middle of nowhere. This manor is like a five-minute drive from town,” Atticus points out.
