Gathering her in my arms, I shielded her head with my body, protecting her from the light and the rubble that was falling from the ceiling.
The power Dilara was exerting was far more intense than I had felt from her. When the room began to settle, I slowly cracked my eyes. Seeing the light had disappeared and the room was no longer falling, although it was in shambles as if it had been struck by an earthquake, I lifted my head.
Still keeping my arms around Azura, I opened my eyes fully and looked around the room. Everyone that had been against us had now crumbled on the ground, but that wasn’t what had my attention. It was that every one of them, aside from Arion, was now human.
