“Only when you accept what you hate in yourself, when you let hatred and loss tear you apart, then the flame will come. Until then, you will remain ash.” Aurora took a deep breath, her body trembling. Her red eyes sparkled as she lifted her chin. “Ash is also dead fire.” Ashkar smiled slightly. “Ash is the beginning of fire.” Aurora closed her eyes and raised her hand. She felt her heart beating so loudly that it seemed to want to leap out of her chest. The heat rose quickly, a shock to her skin. A spark danced at her fingertips. For a second, it existed. And then it went out.

Her green eyes roamed over Lydia as she exclaimed, “Oh my God!” Lydia stifled a laugh; she knew her mom would soon comment on her beauty and how she would sweep every male off their feet that evening. It was clear that Lydia resembled her mother, both standing tall and slender, with curves that could captivate anyone. Lydia had inherited Luna Alice's striking green eyes, long tan limbs, pointed nose, and beautifully shaped lips.

Rosemary As the sun set and Aurora was in Julie’s care, I decided to take a run. The evening air had a bite to it, the chill seeping through the trees and brushing against my fur as I raced through the woods. The forest stretched wide and endless around me, the earth soft beneath my paws, the rhythmic thud of each stride grounding me. Running like this, free and untethered, was my escape - a moment to feel alive amidst the chaos and uncertainty of everything I had come to face.

Aycxe called my attention causing us all to get serious. "Noella, update?" she asked, eyes focused on her scope. "All of the Black Dragons are entering," Noella answered. "Rose, set your time, two minutes from now," Aycxe ordered. "Real fvcking two minutes, Rose, not a freaking two seconds," she immediately added. I secretly chuckled and turned serious when she turned to look at me. Hoho. Never mess with her very, very, short patience. I did what she said. I set all my bombs to the time she gave me. I even put an earpiece in my ear and played happy music to enjoy what I was doing.

Aurora turned around and froze on the spot. Hades had seen the whole interaction and couldn't believe his eyes. He reminisced about their first encounter and all he wanted to do was hug her. He felt overwhelmed looking at her and his daughter. After all these years his hope to have a family with her had lit up again. "Ana!" He exclaimed, which brought her out of her dilemma. She walked towards him confidently and pretended to not know him. "Daddy! This is Princess Aurora, my new friend" She squealed. Hades was brought out of his gaze on her when he heard Nova. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and then recalled Arthur's words and the video he saw the other day. "Hello! Mr. Shaw, nice to

Lanna looked at me with fear in her eyes "Desert, I'm sorry, it wasn't the moon goddess I saw, she's been appearing to me more and more lately and I get so confused" "Hey, it's ok Lanna" "No, no it's not, it was rogues I saw, we need to go back now" "Ahh too late pumpkin" I whip around to see us surrounded by rogues and a jeep comes up the old road stopping in front of us before I can comprehend what is happening Lanna is spinning on the spot whipping her walking stick through the air snapping rogue necks with each spin

I don't think it's going to be difficult, considering that Arthur also always wakes up at 1 pm so there won't be a lot of orders. But why do I feel like he's going to ask me something weird? Crap, he better don’t do that. “Arthur, you can’t do it to a patient” I smile at him, try to convince him that I will be a bad errand type. “It’s okay, only me who knows it. Plus, I can keep a secret” he winks. “Asshole, go away!” I answer immediately. His laughter filled the room, he must be happy that he successfully teases me. What a jerk. Arthur opened the plastic bag and took out one orange from there, he slowly peeled the skin and cleaned it before handing one to me.

"She's a descendant of Hecate but so are hundreds and thousands others. So why do her and Postestas' mate and that Mirus boy and the girl from 1700s all have powers and the rest don't?" "Wait...I think I've spotted something," I said flicking through the pages. "Milly's birthday is April 17th, Donatia's was April 16th, Mirus's was April 18th, Elizabeth's is April 14th. There's a connection. There has to be." "All three of those are in the Aries constellation," Max said. "Does that mean anything to you?" "Aries...aries...aries," I said trying to remember what I had read about that constellation.

"It has become my favorite scent." As we followed the scent of vanilla and roses, it led us to the kitchen door. "I think it must be a meal for the party" "No." Zander disagreed with a strong voice. "Go in, she's there. I can feel the connection" "Who?" "Our…" I opened the door with a loud bang before he could complete his words. My eyes landed on her. She was staring back at me, her plump pink lips opened from when she gasped at my noisy entry. Her forest green eyes stared at me with a mix of shock and awe. Her brown hair was pulled up in a bun, away from her face.
