He leans between the seats and hands me a bottle of water. Austin is driving. I have no idea if Austin is his first name or last. He's Victor Corbin's enforcer. This makes him a scary dude. Austin's about 2 inches shorter than me and Gomez and he doesn't carry as much muscle. His pale blue eyes are as cold as Gomez's dark ones. Austin is a killer and one I never want to go up against. Corbin, his boss, runs the drugs and guns in Cali. We pre-arranged this pickup with Corbin. It surprises me he sent Austin. Things must be slower in California than they are in Arizona and New Mexico.

the butler walks in with a tray of food. "for you" she watched him place the food on the small glass table...she was surprised he brought her food, she was happy he did... "Guess he isn't all that bad" she starts digging into the food like a hungry dog that has been starved for days... "What are you doing here?" "She was a professional. She was supposed to stay until I was done. But you scared her off with your curiosity."

His clothes were expensive and so were his rings and hat. He thrust out a hand. " You must be Kelvin, he lends a hand to me. I'm Mrs Johnson's company Manager." I took his soft crabby hand and shooked it. " Nice to meet you. I don't suppose your name is." He laughed. " I'm known as Mr Babatunde but since you and I are going to get along just fine, why don't you just call me Austin." I liked him instantly. He was friendly and opened. Probably the first nice person I've met today.
